What TV show, movie, comic, or IP brand in general let you down the hardest?
>>153133960Not sure about the biggest one but a recent letdown is the new Ultimate Spider-Man
>>153133960Recent one I can think of is the ending of BrindilleI don't care if it's a subversion, she should have won that final fight!
>>153133960One More Day
>>153133960I don't want to fix her, I want to make her worse.
Timon and Pumbaa (The Toon Disney season is the most painful alright)
>>153133960Marvel, in its entirety.
>>153134304you.....want to make her an even bigger loser that's delusional and is obsessed with a fucking sandwich company? anon, a worse her is just a disney adultshe's not fun at all, and she sure as hell isn't going to be a fun partner unless you also happen to be autistic about subpar (not just autistic in general, you have to specifically give a shit about the sandwich company)
>>153133960Avatar LoK is the first time I think I really felt gypped by a cartoon. I made excused for season one, hoping they would improve, was shocked by how badly season 2 was, and ended with near total disappointment in Season 3. I didn't bother with anything after and I'm glad I didn't waste my time.Korra us literally only good for jerk off material
>>153133960how venture bros ended. movie was a serviceable ending but man if they had that extra season instead it would have been perfect
>>153133960In recent memory? Ant-Man 3.It had absolutely none of the elements that made the first two movies enjoyable. They didn't even throw a bone to the girl who played Cassie in the first two movies with a flashback scene or something. Luis and the crew were just fucking MIA. Michael Douglas went from saying he'd be happy playing Hank Pym for the rest of his life to begging them to kill him off.I was really looking forward to it since the screenplay was by Jeff Loveness, and I adored his all too short Nova run.
>>153134304This guy gets it. Really indulge in her habits, enable her to be a fucking freak.
>>153133960its a dead horse here in /co/ but Adventure Time...
>>153133960Ren & Stimpy, Mighty Magiswords and Twelve ForeverYou can probably guess why
>>153133960Do you think she's ever attempted a Subpar mukbang?
>>153133960I think Subpargeekgirl96 would be less annoying to be around than Katy.
>>153134582Damn this page is good
>>153133960FiM. It would take too long to explain but even Season 2 felt a little off.
>>153133960Invincible I wanted more from the Nolan stuff in the beginning Don't give a shit about the Guardians or relationship drama"My dad is evil superman" was interesting but it took too long for that subject to come back in a way that made me care
>>153134952Is there... more?
>>153133960What if you ship her with the warden of superjail
Netflix's Dark Crystal. How could those fuckers cancel it? I am STILL mad.
Steven Universe FutureI can excuse the original show somewhat but it still baffles me that they were given a second chance and still managed to fuck it up and waste time leading into a half-baked rushed ending.
>>153133960Loud house. Sullivan and Rubiner should be blacklisted with how bad they let a prospective spongebob-tier franchise turn to dust. Halo with 343 levels of incompetent.
>>153133960Literally all of them. I struggle to think of an example which hasnt.
>>153133960Helluva Boss shortsI know they made the main series a gay soap opera, but the shorts felt like a return to form with nice bit sized comedy adventureSure the first episode just felt like an extension of of the show but episode 2 and 3 were amazingThen it took a nose drive in entertainment and I haven't watched the last 3 or 4 episodes to completion
>>153136571Blame the cunts who #metoo'd Savino
>>153134952Sublo and Tangy Mustard lewds? In THIS economy? I didn't think it possible!
>>153134936>t. Tangy Mustard
>>153134952If she was filming Sublo coming out of the bathroom she certainly would film this "encounter"
>>153133960In general terms DEFINITELY Star Wars, but, since that one goes beyond just /co/ stuff, I'd say Spider-Man.The character itself, the side characters, and the story have been munted beyond recognition at this point.>>153134476This might be more on point actually. Marvel is complete shit nowadays.
>>153135839Season 2 was different, but it was still nice IMO. Had plenty of memorable moments. I think it really only went south in the later seasons.>>153134528Yeah, I think at least like 50% of the audience shared that same feeling. It kinda killed the franchise.
>>153134528What sucks is that each season had a genuinely decent premise. >Non-Benders utilize technology to combat benders.>The polar regions are gateways to the spirit world and someone wishes to use the power within for his own purposes>Due to Korras mistake of leaving the spirit world portals open, more than just spirits cross over; The energies reawaken ancient dorment Air bending powers to bring a sudden balance back to the world.>Due to the actions taken during the last season, the Earth Kingdom is thrown into anarchy. Kuvira rightfully deduces the monarch failed, and seeks to bring the Earth Kingdom under a new manner of rule. But then... Bah. Poor execution.
>>153136638The new shorts aren't bad, just kinda... Meh. But there's plenty of thick babes there in the background.
Gotta go with either Adventure Time or Avatar:LotK. AT got too involved with situationships, and LotK had all the right ingredients for success but turned into a incoherent mess. Both of them also share this weird common thread in how each series started off as a story about a happy-go-lucky 12-year old genocide victim who just wants to save people, only to get completely dunked on in later seasons after the directors decided that people would rather watch a teen-drama for women.Ironically, Teen Titans almost had the opposite problem where it originally started as a pseudo teen drama, and then for some reason turned the show into nothing but happy-go-lucky 12-year-olds.So many bizarre fucking design choices in the mid-late 10's.
>>153137672Katy's constantly being shitty to everyone because she has delusions of being a talented artist when all she draws is dicks. She's also drunk or high all the time. Stefanfia's vice is sandwiches. I know which one I'd rather party with.
>>153138016The premises would have been good if they were united to a single threat. A huge part of what made AtlA good was that Sozen's comet and Ozai were clearly communicated looming threats that provided a coherent metric by which we can see Aang progress. It was a clearly defined hero's journey. TloK had none of that and left the audience asking at the start of every season "So, what are we doing here again?"
>>153136161Yes. No I can't post the other image.
>>153138117If I remember correctly, it was never meant to be four seasons, but a single one for the first. That is why the art quality dropped after the first season. I am still rather upset that they showed Amon to be a bender.
>>153138158>I am still rather upset that they showed Amon to be a bender.Same. I just really wanted to see an evil Ty Lee, someone so proficient at martial arts that they can shut down chi. Hell, while we're at it, carry that forward to the next season and make them the dark Avatar. Having someone who is an expert on all 4 styles of martial arts suddenly become a bender would become a genuine menace. Which now that I think about it, that's exactly what they did with Zaheer instead. Shit I'm just getting myself madder writing this
Thundercats 2011This could have been CN answer to Avatar, but after the first episodes the show went downhill fast.
>>153138322Designs were good, it's a shame it didn't succeed
>>153133960"Drawn Together" had the potential to be a brilliant satire of the cartoon/comics industry and the cliches involved. Instead, its premise was totally wasted on toilet humor and lame attempts to be "edgy".
>>153138291Lemme take your idea and tweek it.>Amon is a genuine non-bender and knows enough martial arts and chi-binding to actually remove Bending by blocking specific points on the body.>He's defeated by Korra but it's hinted that those who arrest him have sympathies for this cause.>He escapes en route to court, and is hidden away at the North Pole.>Believing he requires more to defeat Korra, he speaks to spiritual advisors who tell him of a Great Demon sealed away by the First Avatar nearly ten thousand years prior.>Since I don't like the current avatar lore, we will say that this one has no real connection to the Avatar Spirit whatsoever. Thus, it possesses Amon: Granting him Elemental Abilities, for as a spirit it has the power to do so.>A battle from the Pole to Republic City, ending with Korra striking down Amon.>In the end, he's exorcised of the Demon and immediately sentenced to life in prison(Korra doesn't believe in the Death Penalty).>He's thrown into Zaheers mountain prison where he learns that, while all of his elemental abilities are gone, it seems he's kept a small measure of Air bending.>Thus. He trains in secret.>Five years go by. Korra is dealing with the fallout of the portals being open(Maybe Amon kept them open and she can't close them?) when word of Airbenders spring up.>In the midst of this confusion, Amon escapes.>His goal of Equality have slowly morphed into a desire to kill Korra, and so hunts her at every step of her journey.>It culminates in the mountain plateaus, where after a long duel, Korra barely manages to overpower and kill Amon with a bolt of lightning. At last. It's over for him.>But the ramifications of his actions linger still, as the Earth Queen is still kidnapping airbenders, setting her up as the final antagonist for the last season.>Also. Kuvira is still on Korras side and kuvira has a thing for Bolin.
>>153133960The DuckTales reboot had the potential to be a lot of fun but it feels like something must have happened behind the scenes in Season 2 and the show never recovered.
>>153133960I was in line for the midnight release of Kingdom Hearts 3.
>>153136638>they made the main series a gay soap operaIt was always a gay soap opera, what are you talking about?
Joker: Folie à Deux just ruins everything great about the first one and removes the mystery of a bunch of the ambiguous parts.
>>153133960I really don't have expectations for things anymore. Castlevania was good 4 episodes so it got my hopes up. Bioshock 1 was very well received so I didn't expect it to be such slop. MTG was fun until it wasn't.
>>153139846Ever played System Shock?
>>153133960Monkey Wrench
>>153136161If only there was some kind of watermark on the image, or perhaps some kind of filename one could look at to find an answer. Alas, I guess we'll never know if there was more.
>>153140374i looked it up
>>153133960wanted to cheer for him to get better till he turned out to be a pedophile. Cant fix those
>>153143034Yes you can. in fact, theres a very easy way to do so.
This piece of garbage (including the stuff leading up to it). It's the most egregious display of incompetence, ineptitude and apathy by creatives I've seen in a while, who seem to have been actively fighting to make the worst and most amateurish storytelling decisions possible at every turn
>>153143550the worst part of this shit was leah's fat tits coming on /co/ and shilling herself to try and get us to brigade DC editorial to give her the book and then it was a greasy wet fucking turd and she was like "guys its not my fawlt i wrote the exact same dog shit i do every time its editorial mandate ;-;"
>>153143034They should've let him die in the second to last episode
>>153133960I remember reading Scott Pilgrim as a teen and being totally brainbroken that the author would outright lie to the audience about how big a piece of shit Scott was. Then later he decides to NOT cheat on Ramona, the woman doing S&M play with her ex in their overlapping Mind Palaces and I just...I just cannot understand the creative choices.
>>153133960Homestuck. Legit the worst written, most blueballing climax and ending I’ve ever witnessed.
>>153133960>bathrobe Hnnnnnghh
>>153134491but she has nice breasts
>>153144861Would’ve ruined the entire point of the end. Did you even watch it?
>>153148175>the entire point of the endLeaving things open so they could get more seasons in the future?
>>153138322if they didn't suggest ntr, at every possible moment, even with wilikyt, then maybe it would have a shot
>>153133960Nothing will ever be as bad as Lost because I was naive then and still let myself get invested in things to that degree
I actually stopped watching first-run cartoons because of this fucking drop-off
>>153138158Even if it was originally ment to be a mini series, season one Korra has terrible pacing and a good amount of needless bloat.
>>153139490>everything great about the first oneso, nothing?
>>153133960Arcane season 2.People will defend it by saying the show was severely truncated due to budget reasons, but what goes on in the background doesn't matter to me. I can only judge what I am given. It was slop.
>>153136255Studio executives are like lions killing cubs of rivals to assert their dominance in the pride. When the exec that greenlit Dark Crystal and even pushed for them to go all in with puppets was replaced, the new person immediately shitcanned it for their own pet projects. It's actually the reason why Disney has mismanaged the Muppets so badly, Bob Iger never gave a fuck about them and they were just something Eisner decided to bring into Disney at the last minute before he took over.
>>153149145>People will defend it Literally no one defends it lol
>>153137630This is BARELY lewd. We can do better. I want to see Sublo and T.angy Mustard with just the heads on
>>153140170No but everything in Bioshock screams "hatred of the Player's freewill". It is the first time I've noticed the "leaving tons of ammo around but having a really small ammo limit" game design. It wouldn't be a problem if there was an actual inventory system but the game won't even let you have control of what to get out of the drawer.
>>153144891>the woman doing S&M play with her ex in their overlapping Mind PalacesNow that I think about it, you're right. I always assumed it was a dream but Gideon could've easily been fucking Ramona in Subspace since he even fucked with Scott's dreams that way.
>>153133960Canada, and especially Toronno, is not interesting. I wish the creators would understand that.
>>153150973why is that?
>>153133960SU is the main one for me, I wanted to like it (and did for a time) but Future and various post-show interviews made me regret putting time into it. Hell, I'm not even excited for that Lars of the Starts spin-off they're doing.>>153150973Vancouver can be fun but that's in mostly due to it being a part of the PNW area.>>153151019There's no real culture and touching on any sort of local folklore means you also have to walk around eggshells because of that human rights tribunal crapola due to highly litigious Native American tribes.
>>153139490>>153148844Get his fucking rags off
>>153134952I don't know what it is but something about this character is making me really horny. Her geeky enthusiasm is such a turn on.
>>153133960A nerdy vlog girl on the spectrum was exactly what modern cartoons was missing
>>153150973It's just generic "big city," no better or worse than using New York as a setting.
>>153151192>Lars of the StarsApparently, it’s only going to be a pilot and nothing more, at least according to /co/.
>>153148588Star vs was sooo overrated, and it pisses me off that people would rather revive it than Wander Over Yonder.
>>153151019
>>153152671>people would rather revive itNoIt can't be redeemed I never watched that other thing but whatever it is it deserves a return more
