There is a difference between Western comic books (superhero) and Eastern manga (mostly shonen) in terms of archetypes.In capeshit, archetypes define powerset. The flying brick is super strong and can fly: Omni-Man, Superman, Homelander, and Gladiator all have pretty much the same powerset, but different personalities.In manga, archetypes are about personality: tsundere, kuudere, or the goofy glutton main character like Luffy or Goku. But despite similar personalities, all of them have different powers.
