>>153136590Fixer never went back to his green and blue classic threads did he? Suppose his Thunderbolts design is pretty much his definitive look so not surprising.
And that's it. If you liked this, support your LCS or whatever.

It feels like #3 just came out.
>>153136637Wow, this sucks. Imagine having an actually interesting premise and then chucking it out like this.

>>153137903Tony in pain is usually a good sign. Unfortunately...
>>153136667He's a red herring in that he's not A.I.Man, but he's most likely still becoming a villain at the end of the arc>>153136958Last issue was like 2 weeks ago so yeah
>>153136628He will live.
>>153136543I don't get the long term plan here. Sure, they make another Stark, maybe even one that's edgier, but the guy would still hate AIM and Masque. It's not like they would be able to contain the end result, and unless they have a way to recreate the Inversion from Axis, I don't see what the endgame could be.
>>153136581Yeah, okay, finding out what was stolen will more or less tell us everything about Citizen V #4. At least this rules out Cap like someone said last time, and more or less confirms it's someone we've seen in the past.
>>153138349>>153138349>>153138349
>>153136914She had this big poorly thought out plan then the people she kidnapped started killing themselves trying to escape like the guy that phased himself into a wall. I'm pretty sure >>153136628 Adam is the only guy they actually killed on purpose and that was moreso Fixer going rogue.
>>153139149The guy in the first issue got shot in the face so that was an intentional death assuming he actually died from that.
>>153137143yeah, that's actually nice.damn, could have been a title for an ongoing of Tony leading AIM
>>153139166Ok that's two then so she's just retarded. The whole point of Iron Man being born is that escape was possible and he had moral support and someone to bounce ideas off of via the doctor while locked up which they just forgot for this experiment.
>>153139337It seemed like the lack of a Professor Yinsen equivalent would be important for it turning out poorly. Since the story continues into at least next month, can't be determined if that is an in-universe problem or the writer.
>>153137903I like the Heroes Reborn reference
I wonder if they will publish the results of favorite Iron Man villain from last month's letters page as a chart. It would be funny if the top spots are dead guys, Doctor Doom, and Norman Osborn.
>>153139409Maybe she don't know about Yinsen.
>>153136637A lot of people hate this, probably rightly, but it works in a narrative sense>Tony is in a rut, not an innovator, just an optimizer>Fixer is in a rut, not an innovator, just an optimizer
>>153141306Depends on if Tony's answer to beating him is shifting his consciousness into a robot body and gets the runback as Invincible Techno.
>>153136590>We take nothing and make something new.>>153136637>Proceed to build bigger Iron Man>Harm the guy who actually innovated
>>153141864Considering everything so far, I'm sure that is the point. It leads to armor on armor violence, Fixer decides that being Iron Man sucks and he goes back to his usual specialties, and it looks like end of story. Then reveal Adam is still alive in a mind expanding man/machine merger way while his meat is toast, assimilates SHIELD and AIM data into himself, and decides to make the world love the learning. Essentially Tony filled the missing kindly old man that neither would escape on their own slot, but the dead that follows has the opposite consequences.
>>153136528Bump
>>153136534Kid you don't want to emulate Bill Gates
>>153136528When did Tony Stark get jacked? Is he ever shown lifting weights, or did him giving up alcohol somehow act like a natural steroid in comics logic?
Stark vs Forge in a build-off. Who wins? And if it's Forge...why the hell has he never worked with Tony? Or is Tony's ego so great that he refuses to collab with others?
>>153136628>>153136637>>153141864A big criticism of Iron Man has been his lack of unique or memorable villains. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the catalyst to a series of events that turns Adam into one, like Tony Stark's own Two Face
>>153144704Didn't hox pox say that Tony (and by extension other big brains) could potentially invent things that surpassed Forge's greatest creations? So Forge wins if the invent off is in x comics and Forge wins if the invent off is in Iron Man comics since writers can help fellate the xmen especially at Tony's expense
>>153144669He's a superhero. They all are ripped by default.
>>153145030He's doing reverse curls: one hand holding the scotch bottle while the other hand holding that wrist and is struggling to keep it away from his mouth. Every other muscle group is exercised trying to get that bottle into his mouth.
>>153144711Two-Face specifically seems like a low freshness pick if you wanted to ape a Batman villain's archetype.
>>153136596Whitney got some nice hips ngl
>>153146792She's vaguely mid to late thirties. It would be odd if she didn't.
Read an ARC for issue 5>Tony turns into his 11 year old self>Madame Masque starts whimpering and heavy breathingWhat did Joshua Williamson mean by this?
>>153145199Well the comparison was mainly because of the burnt face. I think this whole AIM arc is a setup for Adam becoming the villain of the next arc: sympathetic backstory, relates and mirrors Tony, capable and established as a genius in his own right. I think by the time Masque and AIM are beaten Adam will have gone through so much that he turns into the evil Tony AIM was trying to makeThis is just me spitballing though, but that seems like the direction this'll take
>>153148536Keeping momentum up after the first writer is a big thing. There are a half dozen or more who are introduced as the next big thing for Iron Man and don't really appear much after the original creator. Hell you could even argue that for Justin Hammer in terms of Iron Man specifically.
>>153144711You mean a shit and incorrect criticism right? The problem with his villains is that they aren't meaningfully used at all or given anything in recent years except a few if lucky like Ghost since Thunderbolts or Melter of all characters getting mileage in Star-Lord and a Morbius mini
>>153148864I'm convinced you could make another story with Vitriol somehow, but her derived from real-world politics backstory means you can't just slap her into A.I.M. or something.
I have an Absolute Iron Man pitch
>>153149035>>153148864Agreed.There are so many good Iron Man villains, but they're underused as fuck in favor of either giving him Avengers villains or taking them and giving them to someone else
