Why Disney refuses to give "complete series box-sets" to their TV animated shows like Nick and CN?
>>
>>153142738
Money
>>
Because Disney wants you to shut up and watch what you're told to watch.
>>
>>153142738

Beacuse they want you to pay for their streaming service instead
>>
>>153143085
>pay for their shitty streaming service
>the shows you want to watch are still missing
powerful

Disney is notoriously manipulative of the supply and demand of their own products. Remember the “Disney vault”?
>>
because they are fucking retarded assholes who suck the cock of streaming services
>>
>>153142738
They've always done this. They artificially control supply to make releases feel more special than they actually are.
>>
>>153142738

Same reason as the "Disney Vault"

>Hey pay our streaming service to watch your favorite shows since we will never release them on DVD/Blu-Ray

What's going on with CN and their full releases are so bad it cancels out the fact they exist. The Regular Show box set is both physically poor quality with stacked, loose, and scratched discs and bootleg quality paper for the cover, the content itself is partially censored with the Thomas russian episode changed to Druznia too.

Also they all have stock menus which isn't a deal breaker but when you start on the main menu and hear the RS credits complete with CN logo and the characters laughing from it you realize it's complete ass. They couldn't even get a clean version of the music they play on the main menu. The Ben 10 one was missing like a hundred episodes or something and only then did people complain enough to get a remanufacture.

Nick's Manufacture on Demand offerings from Shout Factory were pretty good. They were still on the cheaper/vanilla side but they were good. They also even got Joe Murray to make new cover art and insert art for Rocko DVDs and a new special feature with him.

I feel like the reason Disney doesn't have more complete releases is because their lowest standards might still be higher than the lowest standards for Warner Bros home media which like I said will even miss a whole series worth of episodes in their "complete" set by accident. The Gravity Falls one was high in demand and Alex was directly involved with as much as possible, and it was through Shout Factory as well. Not sure what their Chip and Dale complete series bluray is like or Tangled's complete releases.

Couldn't they make money off those physical releases, though?

Is Disney+ even profitable anymore? Where does it stand against all the others, Netflix especially?
>>
>>153147977

It's the third most used streaming service worldwide behind Netflix and Prime Video iirc
>>
>>153148037
Oh wow..
>>
>>153144980
It’s crazy enough to know that there’s literally no DVD set of Phineas and Ferb despite bringing in high ratings and being very profitable.

Kim Possible is in a weird spot as well. It was popular enough to get season DVD sets but it was only for the first two at this point.

>get money every time someone clicks on an episode of your show, leaves it running for their kids or a background noise while they multitask or even walk away, plus the people seeing ads, plus the constant subscription costs
>or get a single payment of someone buying the entire series on dvd or bluray, which you have to pay manufacturing costs for
it sucks but this is what greed looks like
>>
>>153142738
Because they are Dicks, Pussies, Assholes and Retards
>>
>>153143322
>They are Also CENSORED VISUALLY

Tell me if it ain't true, i dare you.
>>
>>153150830
this is because they quickly throw on international censored versions onto streaming to mitigate that the service is available elsewhere. it happened with gravity falls with stan's fez symbol gone until the new one showed up, it happened with the lilo and stitch dryer scene. it also happened for regular show on hulu with druznia instead of russia. it's a shitty half-assed thing to not give the US our normal versions but that's why they do it.

Disney is hella stingy. Always has been. Even their biggest shows could never get full-season box sets in their heyday. They'll do anything to skirt around having to produce physical media that would allow consumers to actually OWN something that feels whole
>>
>>153142738
ur guess is as good as mine
>>
>>153142738
That’s what Disney+ is for.
>>
Can we admit that Disney's jewish physical media practices make piracy of their content 100% morally justified?

The fact that they made "complete box-sets" but for digital stores only
