The other thing to remember with Lute when it comes to Adam's death is exorcists seem to basically be disposable footsoldiers for Heaven, they don't get to do the fun Winner stuff and they definitely shouldn't talk back. As Adam's personal favorite she had a voice in the court, got to speak her mind freely and even had a more presitigious booth in the courtroom. Adam was respected so by proxy Lute was respected. Now he is gone nobody listens to her, nobody is interested in what a mere exorcist has to say. Vivziepop said he was the only person to ever really support her and let her speak her mind.
