Those two did not mesh well and it made the entire experience a pain to watch. One scene there'd be a brutal execution with gore, and the next scene they're talking like they're in a quirky kids or teens cartoon. In Vox Machina they separated comedy and drama during more reasonable intervals, compared to MN where you go from tragedy to comedy in matter of seconds. Also lost me when they made the big backstory of one character who was essentially a nazi, and they expected you to feel bad for the psychopath who CHOSE to do all the horrible things he did out of his own will. And that everyone from the group actively wanted to stay with him after that was the final nail in the coffin for me believing or taking anything from it seriously.Cute girls though.

Bump. Season 5 of Vox Machina is supposed to come out this year. Do I like VM more Mighty Nein more? Hmm... hard to say. So far I like Mighty Nein more, because it feels less like superhero plot armor fantasy. I really like how M9 showed the characters meeting each other instead of already knowing each other. Vox Machina kind of jumped the shark and became too much like Friends with all the characters except Grog sleeping with each other for some reason
