>>153157891I can't recall who's writing the film, but it's got two Shrek veterans directing so I'm sure it'll retain at least *some* of the charm. The fact almost 20 years will have passed since the last film definitely has me a little worried, though. Makes it obvious how much of a cashgrab this is and not some sequel anyone ever actually planned to make.

So I have some level of faith in Shrek, but not a lot. I must admit Shrek does have a good track record, 1 and 2 are universally loved, yes 3 is agreed to be bad but 4 is argued to be nearly as good as the other two, 3/4 is a pretty good average
