Most traditionally animated cartoons are animated in Korea, correct? If something was animated by Korea, but only for Korean audiences, would that also qualify as /co/? (Or would anything vaguely Eastern and/or Asian fall under the /a/ umbrella?)

From what I looked into, the anime adaptation scrubbed the original Solo Leveling of all its Korean heritage and replaced the main antagonist (Japan) with something more generic. It's strange how so many Korean webcomics either get made into /a/ or /tv/, but never /co/. (Domestically, that is.)

If it’s non-anime comics or animation it’s generally fine.We have a number of Korean things that are considered /co/, like the Assaekiga comic strips, There She Is!, and Dinocore.
