I just can't think where episode 9 is going to go. Not only is Caine dead, but Jax has been shown the group still accepts him and doesn't want him gone, and even though he's still making some habitual asshole comments, he still ultimately sacrificed and humiliated himself for the sake of the group and didn't fight the implication that he's suicidal in front of the whole group when he left the cafe.Like obviously there's still things to resolve, but there's no clear "here's what happens now." There's no clear drama or tension. If we assume the circus isn't actively crumbling, the human characters all seem to be in a pretty comfortable position all things considered.I said this after episode 7 too but I once again have no idea where we're going, and now we don't even have the "waiting for Caine's AM crashout" as a guiding light.
