I do agree that most of the announced projects won’t happen because of Paramount moving directions, but it’s pretty obvious they want a big movie franchise to lean on besides Transformers and Star Trek, Superman made more money than any of the Sonic movies and they green lit Sonic 4 right after 3 got good reviews and made its money back, there’s no way they’ll just throw everything in a trash can and restart they haven’t done anything stupid to prove they would. They’ll probably just keep Gunn on a tight leash and make bigger plans

I do think going forward they need to hurry up on their Batman ideas, either pay out the ass to contract Pattinson or hire someone new already, starting 2 DCUs without a solo Batman movie in sight is pure madness, and instead of doing a Justice League movie they should do a Worlds Finest movie instead, keep it small, keep it collected, having a movie where Batman and Superman hag out and act like bros will clean up their relationship to the mainstream so hard it’s unreal. I’m honestly hoping they don’t even do a justice league movie, the later DCU movies completely tarnished a LOT of reputations

Eh, I'm not impressed. Fortunately I like comic books so I don't need these film and tv projects to be good to enjoy these franchises.

Superman was pretty good. Not as good as Superman 1 from '78, but good.
Certainly better than the Snyder vision of Superman, but that's a low bar.
Something I've been surprised with has been the vulgarity. Now I'm no prude, but I always felt these characters, the DC world, has always meant more to children than it would to adults. So I always like it to be all-ages appropriate.
And, more importantly, the ways the DCU so far has tried to be 'adult' have felt so ridiculously adolescent.

I'm looking forward to Supergirl, I think that has potential to be better than Superman, which although good left much room for improvement. It's a different take on the character, but one which is fun and more unique for the purposes of building some cinematic universe.
Lanterns looks like it might be a well done show, but a missed opertunity for a true Green Lantern show. You can tell, and have been able to tell for ages, that most of Hollywood does not want to do superhero projects. They want creative, original fiction, and are fulfilling that urge by making shows which are only about superheroes in name only.

There's some TV show that Gunn is going to work on it after Man of Tomorrow. He's described it as his "favorite thing", that it has a writer and director attached, that they were asking about how to do costumes and VFX,
