>>153163070>She misses her big booty sisterMe too.

Would Ashley be so cruel as to have her end up on the pirate sun with the rest?
>>153163070>imagining Sara if she was here experiencing thisAh, the pain of grief and guilt... Maybe I need to call my sister just to say hi.
>>153163328bro dont even jokei know cope could pull it off but that at this point putting jivi anywhere near her is just torture porn
>>153163357That level of torture porn is reserved for Duane atm.
>>153163464>*lds>tortureyou mean mercy porn
Which caste would you want to be?
>>153164299I would caste myself into the ocean so I don't have to endure a life and afterlife of being aldish.
>>153164374t. Gay nigger from Cresce, zesty beyond measure.
>>153164374Nora.....
>>153164299An infamous fuckable silver of course. If not, I'd take jet as a runner up consolation prize. >>153164374Cope. You will always be Aldish.
>>153164552>jetLiterally zero disadvantages whatsoever for pretty much anyone and everyone. As long as you don't wanna go "I cast a m-m-magic missile!".
>>153163070Someday you're going to see someone you love for the last time and probably not even know it.
>>153164574>someday
>>153163350Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
>>153163350Is your sister hot?
>>153164299Jet is the obvious choice, but to be honest if I had to choose between a hundred extra years of life and having my brain scrambled whenever the government decided somebody I've never heard of had gotten too uppity it'd be a tough call.
>>153164574>John Allison did the fucking trauma tetris meme 12 years agoWHAT
>>153165238Any government will do the same to you. Sometimes you will just believe that you're being fed true and honest (tm) information by """free""" media lmao.
>>153164299Obviously a Copper>super long life>get to be hueg in later life>probably too stupid for pymary anyway>probably rich>get to breed plats as a hobby
>>153165260Given the option, I think I'd prefer the FBI have a backdoor to my phone than to my literal brain, thanks.
>>153165276>he doesn't know
>>153163267Killed by her own butt.
Website comment:>That tough window of time after someone dies when they haven’t quite moved into your memory yet, and you can still see them and hear them in the world all around you.>~AshleyPatreon comment:>Siya had a really fraught relationship with Sara. She loved her of course, but it was all complicated by bitterness over their respective roles as twins, and by how different Siya felt they were in their... in their everything! Even now, she can't be properly, simply, straightforwardly anguished over Sara being dead because it also means that Siya is no longer living her life waiting to be sacrificed.>How the hell does one deal with that! Right now, the only plan Siya has is to punish herself by staying at Litriya. Even though maybe Sara would want her to do whatever the heck she wanted~
>>153163328She's just here for her and Ruffles take in Matty who won't be going back to Alderode. Jivi and Sette would never give him up if he didn't have somewhere safe to go.
>>153164574Shit like this bothers me. There's always signs of a suicidal person, people just look away and pretend they're surprised afterwards. It's never just "they were SAD." People want to cry crocodile tears when they never even tried to reach out beyond a "you okay" in front of a bunch of other people while you're all in the middle of something.I've looked up resources for myself before and found a "survivors of suicide" group on one of the bigger sites. But it turns out, it was a support group for people who knew people who killed themselves. Nothing for suicidal people but a hotline they outsourced to India last time I called and a text line full of auto responses.
>>153166665You're right there's always signs but it can be hard to tell if they're signs of being suicidal or other, equally plausible things it could be. If the person lives alone or far from you it can be harder to notice those signs as well- and I know even if I'm worried about someone it can be hard to reach out privately as I'm constantly afraid of overstepping. There's lots of reasons people miss signs of suicidal ideation, not limited to the fact that some people actively hide their suicidal ideation as well. Not to mention the 'false recovery' that can happen when someone decides to kill themselves- how do you tell the difference, from the outside, between someone improving because they feel better and someone improving because they made that decision? You might find better luck re: support groups if you look for groups of "suicide attempt survivors", or groups for those with "suicidal ideation". "Suicide survivor" groups tend to be those left behind after someone commits suicide, which is something those people do need to talk about and process.
>>153166665Thank you for your service, captain hindsight
>>153166859>>153166973I guess what I'm really mad about is the fake sympathy. If you're close enough to mourn someone, you should have been close enough to notice something was off. If people were more honest and said "yeah it's kinda sad but I'll forget about it by next week" then I wouldn't have so much false hope.To bring it back to the comic, Sara said it herself that she was too wrapped up in herself like a hot bath to notice that her sister was suffering. That's normal, that's typical for most people. I wish there was more honesty about it instead of faking tears for asspats.Siya isn't faking tears here, she's got actual survivor's guilt.
>>153167155> If you're close enough to mourn someone, you should have been close enough to notice something was off.Not always, and mourning takes many forms. How are you to know what sympathy is fake and what isn't? People could be genuinely reaching out to you but you just don't notice because they're not reaching out in the ways you're looking for. Just as we can be too wrapped up in ourselves to reach out, like Sara, we can also be too wrapped up in ourselves to accept help. Of course Siya has survivor's guilt here- and she needs to work through a whole new world where she's alone in a way she never expected to be. I hope she can find a way to find happiness- though I don't want her coming along for the adventure to Alderode because that's too dangerous, she just needs to be happy.
>>153167155>If you're close enough to mourn someone, you should have been close enough to notice something was off.Bad news Anon, the signs of being depressed than suicidal and the signs of coming out of depression are frighteningly similar from an outsiders perspective. Hence why these groups exist, because the people who thought a given person was getting better found they were merely relieved it was all going to be over soon. Asshole.
>>153166583What if she's there to get folded into Sette's gang and act as Matty's babysitter
>>153167932>If anyone reading this has had someone they cared about choose to die, you need to know that you could have stopped it. This is a really evil thing to post.
>>153167932Jesus Christ you're a faggot.
>>153167596Same with terminal illness. Spend enough time around the dying and you'll find that one of the likeliest signs that it's all about to be over for a patient is for them to have a miraculously good day that convinces the family the diagnosis was a mistake.
>>153168367It’s not a diagnosis is a mistake thing imo: to speak of real experience when your guy has a sinus tumour carving out his brain that has blinded him in one eye, there is not really a question of diagnosis. But it is interesting how many deathbed cases have a period of relative recovery just before they die. I’ve seen it quoted as high as 30-40%. The calm before suicide thing is because the internal pressures have been resolved, just not in the direction to be hoped for.
There’s one really really interesting case of terminal lucidity where this dying priest just kept fucking ranting about the gods being dead and went around adopting children and it lasted like 10 fucking years or something.
>>153166665>It's never just "they were SAD."I took this to mean Shelley didn't know how to explain, or even understand, exactly what happened to her friend. She's just some teen in the nineties, after all. The real reason I posted it was the middle panel, which lined up with this Unsounded page. About still thinking about them and interacting with them daily.
There was a draw request in the last bread but I lost it, what was it
>>153168869Not in the medical field but from my experience it seems like a person can be terminal for a quite a while until something finally gives, and then it goes from "he's going to die" to "he's dying". >>153167262>I hope she can find a way to find happiness- though I don't want her coming along for the adventure to Alderode because that's too dangerous, she just needs to be happyI hope so too, and desu Siya needs to escape the temple system altogether as a start to truly begin to heal. Sara would also want this.
>>153163070Ugh
>>153165260Let me guess. You have great difficulty evaluating information from different sources with their various biases and contradictory information on your own hook, but no worries, you've found some cool dudes outside the establishment who can tell you exactly what to think.
>>153166665>People want to cry crocodile tears when they never even tried to reach out beyond a "you okay" in front of a bunch of other people while you're all in the middle of something.>I guess what I'm really mad about is the fake sympathy. If you're close enough to mourn someone, you should have been close enough to notice something was off.You want to ditch this view if you can, potentially suicidal person. This is one of those spiral opinions - not necessarily true but real easy to self-reinforce internally. Try to be more of a blank slate. To the obvious questions to ask of me: yes, and yes.
