People see it as Moore slumming it up for rent money. Which is sort of true, but as much as he'd probably deny it, you can tell he had fun writing stuff like Violator vs Badrock

I love supreme.You can see an evolution in Moore "superman" work over the years>Miracleman is the typical "this is why superman doesn't work" >Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow is basically "superman but in real world will suffer">Watchmen is a more mature take with more interesting view of the superhero and a Superman in a cold war world>Supreme is Moore's renaissance in his vision of the Binder-like Superman and how in the end the good guys always win>Tom Strong is basically Golden Age Superman but with some SA takes.He knews the 90s artist take the bad lessons of his , claremont and Miller works and tried to do the opposite.
