>ITT: sibling characters who add basically fuck-all to their sibling’s story in the long run.

Havok and MCU Thor ended up as these retarded narrative attachments that never actually justify their
existence beyond taking up space in arcs that would’ve been tighter without them. They show up and then disappear from relevance the moment the story stops needing them.

Meanwhile, the better written and actually enjoyable siblings’ stories are consistently more coherent, more focused, and just flat out better when these fucktards aren’t dragging everything down. Once you strip away the forced sibling dynamic, you’re left with arcs that actually breathe instead of getting bogged down in obligations the narrative, writers, and fans clearly don’t care about. Which is to say, usesless sibling arcs.

So yeah, at a certain point it starts feeling less like “important family storytelling” and more like unnecessary bullshit the writers felt obligated to include but never properly paid off and learn their lesson about how retarded it was later when they create better content. Loki and Cyclops function better when you cut the dead weight and stop pretending the sibling connection added anything meaningful in the first place.

TLDR: No one gives a fuck about sibling related stories. And Thor and Havok being the youngest siblings makes them more scrappy doo like.

do

do you know that loki and thor have been brothers since like the 9th century AD? not in the MCU fake history

actually in norse sagas

that's why they're brothers in the films, because they're drawn from irl mythology where they're brothers and loki is an ice giant and all that stuff

do you know that OP

Actually…. Loki is Odin’s blood brother. He’s more like Thor’s uncle who fucks with him sometimes and goes on adventures with him. Marvel has never been 100% accurate to myth, otherwise we’d have a panel of Loki being raped by a horse.

Marvel invented Loki and Thor being brothers, but Marvelwise, it’s been this way since Thor debuted as a character, and OP is a retard who’ll never change it, and the MCU is also retarded for trying to pretend their connect doesn’t matter.
