Was it one of the most touching moments? Was it just meme material? Is it overrated?
>>153174915Probably the best moment of the entire show so far, only Nolan and Debbie reuniting comes close
>>153174915Mark’s “I’d have you, Dad, I’d still have you” was the cherry on top
>>153174915It was great, the only reason the show is still popular is because of season 1 being absolute kino. Right now the show is just ok, but the investment into Nolan and Mark this scene and episode created still keeps people hooked
Only emotional scene I even remember from Invincible, and it's barely that. Shit's is just far too trite and ass-pully and trashy for any of it to have any real emotional impact. This scene of a dad realising that his kid loves him and that he's made a mistake comes directly after edgy action shit where a bunch of people are murdered. That's not exactly solid setup.Bunch of other shit that *could've* potentially carried emotional weight in the series are completely squandered for shock value. Like when Cecil is murdered. Actual likeable character, just shock death, barely mentioned again. My point is the series isn't well-written enough to give a shit about any of the characters.
>>153174915I think the character acting made it memorable. You can see Nolan's full range of emotions. It's impossible to do that now with the show's low budget
