Has anyone else enjoyed the Infernal Hulk run currently? I read the Immortal Hulk a while back, man, did I fall in love. A recent comic I read was Fantastic Four's Save Everything by Jonathan Hickman. it was a cool, fun read.I don't really get on here often, but I thought maybe I could meet new friends, even here of all places.I have a lot of interests, but ill stick to comics here. New Daredevil season is cool, Invincible is great but god that slideshow animation kills the vibe the writing is trying to convey. Not asking for MAPA style animation but cmon what the fuck
I hardly follow cape comics (not jaded by them or anything, just personal preferences) but I'm glad you're having fun.
>>153180889I really like it. Helps that Nic Klein's art elevates it even further.
>>153180914not to sound corny but some comics I tend to find beautiful or life-changing to me. If you dont follow Cape Comics, what do you enjoy?
>>153180889I like it. Story's not too crazy but Nic Klein and the other artists have been doing great work. Don't waste your time trying to make /co/ friends anon way too many people here are miserable and hate everything.
>>153181035i know this isnt the site to make friends but im bored as hell. anything is cool
>>153180889The more you read, the less you'll like stuff like this, unless you're an eternal pleb like this spammer >>153180932
>>153181188What else are you currently reading?
>>153180944Admittedly there are a couple I enjoy and I respect superheroes as a genre and recognize the value of the talent behind them, but I'm not actively keeping up aside from storytimes on /co/ that I pop intoPersonally I find myself reading standalone books from publishers that don't release floppies.Stuff that tends to be in my local library. That and old small publisher comics, I really enjoy hunting for hidden gems and understanding the history of an under looked (in my personal opinion) part of comics.
>>153180889>but I thought maybe I could meet new friends, even here of all places. Well you thought WRONG
>>153180889I finished the Cates and Ottley run, that was pretty fun only problem I had was just chucking us into the El Paso situation, I know apart of the mystery was Titan showing up but eh whatever. But yeah I managed to get like 5 issues into the PKJ Klein run and it is pretty fun, I’ve always liked it when Hulk has a dynamic with a human character like Rick Jones or something. Not sure how I feel about Eldest honestly, she’s just okay I guess, after Hulk crashing out from what Banner did I hope once the run finishes we can see Banner and Hulk finally get on a even playing field with each other again, maybe have some fun with the Avengers like old times and actually be a hero.Besides that I’ve just been reading silver age Spider-Man, about to finish the Lee Romita Sr run, that’s also been really fun
Also digging Infernal Hulk. If you're enjoying that and the DD show, have you looked into the current Moon Knight comic? Its starts back in 2022 from writer Jed McKay, its had a few diff volumes/titles but it and Hulk are Marvel's best ongoing books (amidst a sea of shit)The current Daredevil comic is not something i would recommend unfortunately
