It's worse than the original, but it isn't a bad movie. Definitely better than Cars 2, Finding Dory, and Inside Out 2

I only just watched em both for the first time a couple years ago and thought 2 was really good, better than one, only to learn it's uniformly hated or seen as an awful sequel. Obviously I wasn't there on the ground floor, and I can get that there was an emotional attachment to the first and maybe unfulfilled expectations on where the sequel would go. But it's really well directed, great action and powers and stuff, top tier capeshit that puts most of the MCU and dcu to shame.

Haven't seen the movie due to over exaggerated hype for it and other stuff going on but they should have tied the Screenslaver to a Supervillain Group that was behind the planned Superhero Ban. Syndrome wouldn't be the only who would be slowly and subtle murking the Supers overtime and have free reign over the world.
