This is such a really smug show.

It's prime ragebait though

It's inoffensive brain rot.

>inoffensive
What about how frequently it aired episodes that were effectively a “take that!” to critics?
>>
>>153188558
was based as fuck, then the producer pussied out and caved in to the bill eltingvilles crying about DC
>>
>>153188558
Not to mention that factor contributes heavily to that smugness the show has.
>>
>>153188571
>based
Memetic slang are not real arguments in any way kiddo, and you need to be +18 to post on this board.
>>
>>153188571
Then you seem to love Ralph Breaks the Internet too, who had a similarly infamous scene in that way, shallow anon
>>
>>153186886
It's one of the best animated shows ever for the seethe factor alone. It knows it's absolutely retarded and has a lot of fun while doing so. What other show do you see characters talking about pyramid schemes, 401Ks, eating teeth, bathrooms ascending into space, the death of major comic characters as a joke, a whole one-hour special that looks like an 80s cartoon, the characters singing about poop. Plus there's that episode where they make Robin twerk. It's hilarious. And it's so funny everyone tried to rip it off and failed because they don't understand that the reason TTG works is because they don't give a fuck.

You stupid and dumb zoomers don't know NOTHING about REAL good cartoons like pic related, and you had nothing good in your childhood, that's why you love inferior garbage like TTG.

I enjoyed the let’s get serious episode. Had me legitimately laughing out loud. But I haven’t really watched the show since then. I’m just too old for it. Also I don’t think it would have worked were it not for the original show setting the framework for what the characters are supposed to be.

Best Starfire design ever
>>
>>153190055
Then why aren't you drawing more of it?
>>

Early TTG and Dexter are basically the same kind of cartoon. Even the art is similar
>>
>>153189647
Why do people hate the artstyle of TTG again?

You're stupid.
>>
>>153191422
because its a cartoon aimed at children and is very childish.
thats literally why theyre angry about it,
>>
>>153186886
It’s funny as hell.
>>
>>153191422
Because it's not the same as the 2003 Teen Titans.
A few of the main character designers here used to work on classic CN shows like Dexter, PPG and Grim Adventures
>>
>>153192508
Doesn't have the charm of those shows at all. Its just a cheap rigged show, doesn't matter who worked on it.
>>
>>153192573
>Doesn't have the charm of those shows at all
According to who?
>rigged show
This has nothing to do with the artstyle.
>>
>>153188571
That was based. The weebs getting so pissed at this is embarrassing. As if they really thought Teen Titans was coming back after 20 years.
>>
>>153193108
>According to who?
Anyone with eyes and a high IQ.
>This has nothing to do with the artstyle.
Yes it does? The poses are varied in Dexter's lab, while in TTG they use rigs so it'll always look the same most of the time. How is that hard to understand?
>>
>>153193359
this nigga arguing about kids cartoons talmbout a high iq luhmao

You need to be a moron to watch TTG.
>>
>>153193359

Nice high iq, bro
>>
>>153190100
Dexter is it's own show. TTG is babies family guy using the skin of a better show for relevance. It makes sense a TTG fan would say something like this though.

Well maybe they should have ended on those good shows instead of working on a cancer attached to another good show.
>>
>>153186886
This was only liked by special ed kids, same ones who are retaliating ITT right now.
>>
>>153193408
Honestly TTG wouldn't have gotten much hate if OG TT ended on a more better note.
>>
>>153193586
It would've gotten the same amount cause its awful.
>>
>>153186886
>>153186997
That's what killed it. Never respond to your haters.
>>
>>153193608
Yeah it would've got hate but not to the point where it TTG baits its audience with a return in a post credits of a movie
>>
The problem really isn't that TTG is retarded or messes around but that it's inherently a smug soulless cancer made for losers to get more easy money. Whatever positives involved are tainted by what it is. And they do care despite pretending otherwise which just adds to them being unlikeable, that's why they can't stop mentioning their haters.
>>153193586
No it still would because people would have appreciated the original more if anything. And they'd still probably want more from the verse unless they went full Disney ESG brain and fucked it all up partway through. Dragging up something good from the past to wear it's skin suit making cheap content for easy coin, for over ten years no less, is still obnoxious. Gumball already pretty much acted like a kiddie family guy but cartoon network got greedy. It's just weird brain dead fans want to defend this as anything but soulless corporate slop, as if it's worthy of more respect despite also insisting "lol we don't care get owned". I guess that's just some of what you get when parents stop caring.

What are the differences between SpongeBob and TTG? They are not the same kind of cartoon with absurdist humor or? What makes SpongeBob work and TTG doesn't with somehow almost the same ingredients? Sincere question.
>>
>there are 65 episodes of teen titans
>there are 447 episodes of teen titans go with more to come
>that’s more than the 330 episodes of SpongeBob
>that’s more than half of the 805 Simpson episodes
God damn
>>
>>153196008
2010s TTG works tho. If the first 3 or 4 seasons were from the 90s/early 2000s /co/ would consider them classics.
>>
>show comes out in like 2013 when I was 17
>didn’t like it then, so I didn’t watch and basically just ignored it
>in the almost 15 years since, have still mostly only heard about this show strictly through the complaints of the audience

I have basically been able to go my entire adult life without this show’s existence bothering me. If it weren’t for the extremely vocal hate base, I would’ve been able to totally ignore it’s existence because only kids like it. It’s funny because shows like Steven Universe and Owl House, which are supposedly “good”, have actually annoyed me more because the adult fans never shut the fuck up about them online
>>
>>153196008
>Pre-Movie SpongeBob was more low key
>SpongeBob has a job and lives on his own
>>
>>153196008
The difference is people were hoping TTG would be a follow up to TT
>>
>>153192303
>because its a cartoon aimed at children and is very childish.
Then explain all the 80s and 90s shows references.
If feels like TTG doesn't know who they're aiming at.
>>
>>153196210
The problem is that people don't know what "childish" is supposed to mean. We are one a board that was baited by shows like AT, Gravity Falls or Steven universe and used to put them on a pedestal just because they had a tiny bit of background lore when, in practice, they were as childish as TTG.
>>
>>153196275
>they were as childish as TTG.
You exaggerating, not in terms of presence of 'childish' humour but its proportion. All these shows were, out of lack of better words, story-across-multiple-episodes-driven and (often silly, sometimes even dark) jokes were sprinkled along the way whilst newest TTG is just jokes. The cartoon doesn't care about its characters, they're here just to tell a joke, show some 80s/90s show reference or that they're self-aware; nothing much besides it.
>>
>>153196373
>story-across-multiple-episodes-driven
Yeah, no. Having one or maybe two plot relevant episodes per season doesn't make your show "story driving". AT didn't have any kind of story and the the Linch was just a joke. The moment they added background stories and plot, they destroyed the show.
>The cartoon doesn't care about its characters
What AT, GF and SU did to their characters was way more insulting than anything done by the writers of TTG.
>>
>>153196373
Steven universe had jokes?
>>
>>153196451
>Yeah, no. Having one or maybe two plot relevant episodes per season doesn't make your show "story driving".
But, it does, just not in the 'traditional' sense liek feature-film. Even one revelant episode gives show a direction and it means the story won't stagnate, cause there's already conceived follow'-up (unless it's cancelled). The rest is just a filler. Personally I quite fond of this approach 'cause it can make a show enjoyable both for the causal watchers and more hardcore fans.

>The moment they added background stories and plot, they destroyed the show.
That means they are more way more complicated than any TTG chactacter. You can exchange every titan with whatever mindless character you like and it would work. And it's really hard to mess up writing and end up inconsistent in TTG as you can do anything stupid with the charactes and you didn't have to worry about consistency.

>What AT, GF and SU did to their characters was way more insulting
In some cases yeah, but when you look at them they're capable of more then one behaviour or emotion when in TTG characters are completely flanderised. It's not about insult or anything but rather about multifacetedness.
>>
>>153196641
>The rest is just a filler

Teen Titans Go really is the Drawn Together of children’s entertainment. Obsessively hated by autistis, but enjoyed by those who gel with its stupidity

I watched that in middle school back in 2013ish, Is it still going?
