>>153194265I think Glitch is getting ahead of themselves here rather than being out of touch. The two cases in favor of releasing the finale in theaters are the Stranger Things finale and Iron Lung from this year but in both cases they had a fair amount going for them. A massive built in audience (far more enduring than people watching a youtube video even if TADC does surprisingly well), and a big name attached respectively. And Iron Lung at least had the benefit that Markiplier being the MC was fine since the MC was faceless and voiceless to begin with.
