You give them good screen time, you allow some backstory or growth or info to come out and interactions to form. Then, after everybody is done, you can start doing your shit after that. But they clearly didn't have the time or budget for that and quickly rushed to follow the fandom desires (i.e, more Jax, more Kinger, less Ragatha etc).
