What do you think of the Skybound series?Hasbro is rolling out a new Cobra with a fucking dinosaur, do you think he'll show up in the comics? It seems like the Skybound comic is pretty retro focused so far. Maybe Hama will use him.

>>153202685Skybound is fucking dead, they've used like four Joes in three years and killed at least one off permanently (PERMANENT DEATH!). Meanwhile Cobra is just a bunch of guys playing with toys from the 80s and Cobra-la is still happening in space in spite of nobody giving a shit about Cobra-la.The whole thing feels very IDW2, lots of ideas about what they don't want to do or repeat, but no real plans beyond turning in the next script.

>>153202685I read a smattering of the Skybound 'Joe comics and I liked most of them. The idea of Cobra Commander creating COBRA's incredible weapons arsenal using energon was great. The Duke series was okay, the Scarlett one was better, and the Drednoks had a great interpretation. So far I'm enjoying the runs and how they integrate with the Transformers series.
Is he new? I feel there were Cobras with dinosaurs in the 90s.

I've dabbled with some GI Joe comics here and there, usually they seem run-of-the-mill 7/10 standard stuff.The "if you like comics you'll have at least some fun reading this" type of generic quality.Have there been any 10/10 runs?
