How did he survive getting aborted?

Maybe a scrapped helper bot raised the aborted clone baby?

This always bothered me as well, I just didn't want to reveal my autism about it.

How are the clone slugs fed/oxygenated? Maybe after getting "flushed", he was essentially in the drain trap of the liquid that does this, so he continued being sustained. Once he was older, he could venture out and then return to the goo to feed, until he learned about real food. Though somehow knowing to return while still young enough that you're learning to crawl/walk seems implausible, I feel like they've done weirder in the show.

But he should be pretty much feral if he somehow raised himself. I presume Rusty programs the chosen slugs with the memories from the beds each time, but they were walking around and calling him a crumb-bum while still not fully baked that one time. So maybe since they actually inherit the souls somehow instead of being newly ensouled beings, aborted Dean still had some link to Dean's soul that filled this gap? That's almost a more hellish existence than he was already shown to have, some sort of soul teratoma, like Jonas Jr. but spiritual.

They don't start out as babies. Aren't they already teenagers when they are in the cloning tubes?
>>

There's so many weirdos apparently undiscovered in the compound, like the underground cult. Hell, Rusty forgot about Hector and Swifty. Maybe some random person raised him initially.

I was going to say maybe Myra did even, but realized Brock was in the scene where he was flushed, so she was already gone. Even though the slugs were very little babies. Did it take Doc several years after the boys were born to get the clones going? When they mentioned the boys being older than they seemed, I always assumed the "lost time" was between deaths somehow, but I guess that doesn't make sense, they just jumped into much younger bodies the first time they died?

This Dean got "aborted" a long time ago.

Originally they all started as babies, but they are constantly aging at the same rate as the boys themselves.

Sometimes the abortion process fails and the little bastard gets past the point of no return. It's always very interesting meeting people who survived their mother trying to kill them.

The episode explains this, anon, try watching it

how doc get pragnent. How is cloen slugg formed?
>>

Rusty explains that he made the slugs "years ago" and that he can't make a clone of 24 that isn't a baby. The implication being that the clones still need years to grow to full size and just kept in suspended animation until the time comes to imprint the memories.

>we'll never watch Gary raise his best friend's infant clone
This really saddens me. I appreciate the friendship he built up with the Monarch but man talk about letting a good thing go to waste. 24 was one of the show's best characters.

Having said as much, do you think ghost 24 would have posessed his baby clone body or would there just be an exact duplicate of 24 interacting with the ghost of the original?

Yes this is why losing all the Hank and Dean clone backups in that battle was such a huge deal. They apparently can't just create Hank and Dean aged clones. They would come out as babies.

Now, I could be mistaken, but as I recall it, Orpheus heard them say crumb bum by reaching out psychically and perceiving the boy's memories/personalities stored in Doc's machines in that very room that he said he uses for the programming of the clones that you mentioned.

Anon, 24 wasn't a ghost. Gary was just going through a lot.

Rusty made a clone of that kid the gorillas dismembered in like thirty minutes, it definitely wasn't one of the boys
>>
>>153218345
It was a very shitty clone though
>>
>>153217954
then why did he hear him in Rapacity in Blue, he was over that by then
>>
>>153218380
yeah but thirty minutes, Doc's a wizard
>>
>>153218622
evidently not entirely
also wasnt that just star wars quotes?
dont you ever hear quotes you know by heart said in the voices of people you know? sometimes shit just runs through your head
i dont recall if he saw the 'ghost' however, ill have to go watch it again
