VAs are the worst part of the movie by far. Animation is gorgeous. The plot of the movie feels like a DBZ/Naruto movie where the whole thing is centered around a filler villain that will never be brought up or mentioned again. What I really appreciate about the animation in the fights is how fluid and clear it is, anime like JJK and One Piece have gaslighted people into thinking that incomprehensible seizure lights = amazing animation.

My opinion the movie had a lot of really good plot points however it feels somewhat rushed because they're trying to condense not only a large amount of backstory for people who didn't see the original series because this was originally supposed to be for theatrical releases. But also trying to cram in a large amount of backstory and lore while trying to move the plot forward without over explaining everything. They did a decent job doing this.But you can very much tell certain things were rushed up or sped up without letting them cook a little bit longer. Especially the whole betrayal in the third act. Comes almost out of nowhere anyone who sees the subtle implications will be like yeah the guys going to turn but it feels very much instant switch. Animation overall looks beautiful when it's still shots while kind of awkward in motion but overall pretty pleasant to look at if a bit awkward at times.If I had to be extremely critical I would give the movie a 7/10 because it's very much rushed with the overall storyline but decently pleasant to watch through. If you're in Avatar fan this is easily a 8/10 to 9/10 just based on lore implications and fun fight scenes while still staying mostly true to the general series humor and fight choreography. Only bad part of the movie in my opinion was them in the spirit world trying to talk to a spirit which was cringe-worthy but it lasted less than 2 mins.
