She wants tto rip off Captain Harlock with a spineless protag more emasculated than Steven, a supporting cast of literal rejects with less personality/impact than the Crystal Gems, and a castrated plot with no impact or stakes because of her inability to have geniune antagonists that don't capitulate at the drop of a hat because "muh feelings we're just hurt". >TL;DRIt's doomed for failure because nobody likes Lars npr his reject gems on top of Sugar trying to bastardize anime that tackles subjects that are way too deep for her to comprehend.
