ITT: We post the most obscure shows where even those who remember them don't even remember a single episode of them.
Japan still cares for the show.Disney Junior still plays reruns of it over there much like Timon and Pumbaa.
>>153226304>Itttttttt's theeeeeee...You think I'd forget this show?
>>153226304I remember an talking about how Christropher Columbus mistook a manatee for a mermaid to make a girl feel better about doing the same thing at an aquariumThere was another episode where they learned about ostriches burying their heads in the dirt which they used to find a lost ball ostriches don't do that so this show didn't even succeed at the education part of edutainment lmao Then there was an episode that talked about how gazelles beat out cheetahs in long distance running which somehow helped Stanley win at baseball

>>153226893>Then there was an episode that talked about how gazelles beat out cheetahs in long distance running which somehow helped Stanley win at baseballI remember thisthe point was that cheetahs are bad at adjusting their angle while running, literally a video game dash attack that is meant to be dodgedhe runs in a zig zag pattern
>>153226740When I was a kid I had this fuckhuge dictionary, don't remember where I got it, probably a family friend? It was about half my size and so reasonably I'd refer to it as the great big book of everything (with everything inside). Could never forget this show because of that.
None of you fuckers know this one
>>153226367>They rerun the Timon and Pumbaa show in JapanProof that "Thing Japan" is good most of the time
>>153229662Sorry anon, I know.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrAT27OdJYcSame dude made another favorite from Fox Kids.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asqNyc8XdmA
>>153226304How could anyone forget my man Stanley? This is Stanley's world.
>>153229821Yo, I didn't know Mad Jack and Purple Garfield had the same creator
>>153226304I remember this show called Cosmic Quantum Ray. I would post an image, but it won't let me. Anyways, it was this educational show aimed at older kids that was kind of like shows such as Danny Phantom, but with an edutainment angle to it. It taught about quantum physics. I remember the show being pretty interesting, but nobody seems to remember it.
>>153226304I remember the great big book of everything, one episode where he wants to get shoes that will help him run as fast as a cheetah only to learn that advertisements lie to you and also cheetahs can only run fast in short bursts, and another episode where he goes to his asian friend's house to eat dinner and he's weirded out that they're eating bamboo shoots and learns about pandas and also asian cuisine. I was probably six years old, so this sort of thing was up my alley.
>>153230941Okay, good. It allows me now.
>>153229958He also did Shnookums and Meat, Toonsylvania, and the Third Pig on Tales from The Crypt's series finale.
>>153229224>>153229662I watched both of these
>>153226304>Show that aired on Disney Channel with heavy promotion including them showing a full music video of the Baha Men performing the theme song during commercial breaks>"Obscure"OP are you slow
>>153231162Probably OP is probably a foreigner. Stanley didn't receive much love in latinamerica, in fact it aired very early in the morning (Near 5am-6am)
>early 2000s Playhouse Disney show that was regularly on>obscure
>>153232223I'm an american. The only reason I consider it obscure is because a lot of people around my age who were born around the late 90s and very early 2000s don't remember it. Keep in mind this show was aimed specifically at two to five year olds. It's just like why I consider PB&J Otter obscure. Meanwhile, I've met a lot more people in life who remember Bear in the Big Blue House and Rolie Polie Olie, which were also on the same lineup. Also, even if those watched the show, because it didn't aim at those over the age of 5, unless you had younger siblings, were babysitting anyone or just watched it bored when sick from school, anyone over the age of 5 likely didn't watch it. People don't really form a lot of vivid memories until they're older.
>>153231162>Disney ChannelThere's your problem. Not everybody had cable so unless it aired on ABC you were SOOL for disney stuff.
>>153229662Absolute Kino>>153229958>Purple GarfieldLmao, I will refer to Eek as that for now on
>>153229958>>153231016>Mad Jack The Pirate>Eek The Cat>Pith Possum and Tex Tinstar (fuck Shnookums and Meat)>ToonsylvaniaBill Kopp deserves more respect.
>>153226304it made me feel funny as a kid without me knowing whyi grew up to have a transformation kink
>>153235956none of those are good
>>153226304do you think stanley has killed himself because we're going through the 6th mass extinction due to greedy humans
>>153231162>Baha MenUgh... you couldn't swing a cat in those days without hearing someone or something singing "Who Let The Dogs Out"
>>153229662>8.5 on IMDbWhich one of you did this?https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275849/
>>153226304Been wanting to give this one a re-watch lately.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reHMFUb1Sks&list=PLR_H6J1r9l5g4VdFNu9Cm8ozMsfSpZg94&index=1Series even has an example of Squidward's voice before Spongebobhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDRzFUVhj0U
