"indie" is just a vibe. There is no cut and dry definition. TADC rides the line for me, because while Glitch is small, it isn't *that* small, and the creators still sign over the rights to their IP just like any other studio. I wouldn't argue if someone didn't think Glitch was indie, let's put it that way.

I think part of it is when we talk about artistic freedom, the creator and maybe the development team at most is considered an artist in the corporate mindset and more freedom for top level decisionmakers is treated like more freedom for art, but the product is still made using a mystery machine of other employees and vendors whose contribution is taken for granted.
