I don't get why they wouldn't make Clueless with sea monsters with her realising she actually enjoyed having Ruby as a friend or at least frenemies.Even the trailers seemed embarrassed by the blindingly obvious twist so they teased the idea above. Probably one of the few times where fan ships would have arguably made for a much better film.
