My biggest problem with them is just nothing happens except them being wholesome. That's been the main drag with the main Bubbeline stuff too. I liked Obsidian! If you no longer want to display relationship challenges because they're oh so perfect now, have them go on an adventure or something, cripes. But if you pigeonholed yourself by sticking them in a lame coffeeshop AU where nothing interesting goes on (whyyyyyy), AND they need to be in a perfect relationship right away, then they're pretty much background characters, no matter how much screentime you give them
