Where Captain America makes a visit to Graymatter Lane.Comics in this thread:>X-Men United #2>Inglorious X-Force #4>Magik and Colossus #3>Storm: Earth's Mightiest Mutant #3
Bump if you're reading.
The site has had a bunch of technical hiccups caused by the recent maintenance, so let’s see how much of this I can do, and how long it will take.
Oh shit, parts of Graymatter Lane are on fire! Quick guys, get out of there!
Good thing that Scott is also here to help them out.
>”It isn’t real, Ben.”Wait what
>Scott tried to scare Emma by having Quentin cause a psychic illusion that made it look like the school was burningI get the point that he’s trying to make, but if he really wanted to show the real danger of Graymatter Lane, he should have gone directly for the Sinister technology used to create it.
And the least obvious editorially mandated drama award of the year goes to…
>We’re dealing with the events Truth: Red, White & BlackWill Isaiah or Eli show up?
>Emma was the one who sent the soldier’s obituary to Cap so that he would reach out to her and have Graymatter Lane get some good repDid she also make sure that he would immediately go to her and not anyone else about this?
Okay, guess we’re really going with this mission then.
Oh shit, Jitter is also joining in.
>https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Maurice_Canfield_(Earth-616)>"[The United States of America] lie, Captain America. They lie and they lie and they lie."Another way of saying "we know that this character is officially confirmed to be dead, so this is how we'll make it work"
huh
>>153239690Bumping
>The team have been split across timeGoddammit Hank, you should have done something about that before they went on the mission.
Well, this won’t end well.
And now for Inglorious X-Force.
Last time, X-Force had to deal with Dirk Anger, Agent of H.A.T.E. who had used a process known as Malachi to grow a bunch of plant clones of Boom-Boom to be used as suicide bombers. Archangel was pushed by Boom-Boom to use his Death Seed powers to get rid of the plant clones and turn them into regular flowers. Retrieving the data from Dirk, Cable learned that all of the Boom-Boom clones would constantly refuse to cooperate with the suicide missions given to them and instead detonate at places far away from their targets. Cable saw this as justifiable proof that Boom-Boom would never kill Kamala, meaning that it was only down to Archangel as Kamala’s killer. But when Boom-Boom went to check on Cable at night, he saw the armed Domino standing right next to his unconscious body, and blasted her on sight!
…How did the squirrel survive the blast?>”Alone…of course.”Akihiro pls
>Angel got a new form that healed Boom-Boom from her injuriesWhat, did he like bleed all over her?
>Cable is accusing Warren that he controlled Boom-Boom to attack Domino because he was able to turn the Boom-Boom clones into flowers last issueThat’s a massive reach there Cable. I don’t think that he can do that.
>Apocalypse is actually behind thisAre you sure? As far as we know, he’s still on Arakko.
Okay, now we get a flashback to what seems to have actually happened.
>>153239774Get the fuck over your myopic fart huffing Magneto, you mass murdering twat.
>”A beach house? Are you sure? Doesn’t exactly scream “Evil Lord Apocalypse”.”It could always be a way to cover up the real structure.
>The beach house is actually a S.H.I.E.L.D. black siteTold you it was covering something up. Wasn't anything related to Apocalypse though.
>>153239759There's still time, get out Cap before the X-Book tries to character assassinate you
Aw man, it’s the Nasty Boys.>https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nasty_Boys_(Earth-616)
>”These guys were part of the Upstarts’ mutant murder game! Cable…the Nasty Boys are supposed to be very, very dead.”Yeah, but that was pre-Krakoa and I think the majority of the members ended up getting resurrected and appearing in Krakoa. So…
I mean it was rather obvious when the Nasty Boys showed up, Sinister would too.I guess we can just excuse the Nasty Boys that appeared here as clones of the original ones then.
And now for Magik and Colossus.
Previously, Magik and Colossus arrived in St. Petersburg while tracking where Lady Midday’s energy ended up traveling to upon her death. During their wandering through the city, they ended up getting into a conflict with Rusalkas who tried to prevent them from reaching their destination, and Magik ended up electrocuting them. Following the battle, they captured a spying Bannik who revealed to the siblings that “the Immortal” had managed to convince the Russian folklore creatures that he’d protect them if they obeyed his rules, and that the only way for them to find the Immortal was to draw him out of hiding, by finding an object located in the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. Magik decided to head in there alone, but ended up getting ambushed by an old man who used his magic to bind her and teleport her away from Colossus…
Aw man, Magik is trapped in some underground fight ring and can't use her powers or her Soulsword.>https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Ygor_Kaoz_(Earth-616)
>Colossus is now familiar with the Russian Underground thanks to MikhailI guess it’s one way to have him find Magik.
>”Ugh, even in Russian, you insist on speaking in third person.”Right, everyone in this comic must have been speaking in Russian the entire time.
Okay, so the “Immortal” was actually Koschei, the Immortal. Not sure why they needed to hide his name the entire time, but okay.>https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Koschei_(Earth-616)
Ey, you finally came.
That was brutal Colossus.
Holy shit, Kaoz actually did something to get them out of there.
>Baba Yaga is Kaoz’s ex and the one Koschei is afraid ofReally awkward to be having Baba Yaga appear here with a different design, when she’s also currently appearing in the Wiccan mini.
And now for Storm: Earth's Mightiest Mutant.
Last month, Scarlet Witch told Storm to accept Akujin’s deal instead of going into a war that she will most likely lose, to which Storm responded by essentially telling her to fuck off. Storm then held a speech where she explained that the Storm Sanctuary was going to be in Biarritz temporarily after she failed to save it from Akujin and that she was placing the Storm Engines to protect Atlanta while she was away. Meanwhile, the FBI began using the cosmic goo they had extracted from Galactus for Project Galacta, and Death began summoning wraiths to begin killing all life.
But first, the recap page.>We were supposed to care about this random mutant that died last issue >>152780884 If you really wanted us to care about her Ayodele, couldn’t you have spent a couple of pages on her instead of that random mutant supremacist?
And now for another flashback (ugh) to before the events of Issue #1, featuring Maggott(!) who…is in the Elysian Fields of Hades, the Olympian underworld.…Why is Maggott in Hades?
Rest in peace Cronus, I guess.>https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Cronus_(Earth-616)
>Storm visited every realm of afterlife and met her dead parents off-panelYou know, it would have been a really nice moment to see Storm interact with her parents, instead of wasting pages on shit that doesn’t matter.
Couldn’t Ayodele just do what he did in the last issue and cut the unnecessary splash page with the credits?
Death has also decided to create wraiths of the X-Men now.
…Is that the fucking Source Wall?
The astronaut is Storm’s mom? The hell?
>>153239774This is why you will never be a hero Magneto
This feels like one of those “aura farming” moments, but it falls flat because no one cares about this comic lol
>The astronaut was just a variant of Storm’s momLame.
So Storm is going to be stuck here unless she finds a way back. Let's see how she accomplishes that next time then.
Next week: Cyclops #3, Rogue #4, Wade Wilson: Deadpool #3, Wolverine #19.And that's it! If you liked these, support your LCS or whatever.

>>153239774>>153245737It's kind of amazing Marvel has inadvertently turned Magneto into one of the most complex and realistic villains. Just a walking complex of contradictions, hypocrisy discarded beliefs and squandered opportunities. Futhermore, otherwise you'd risk some sort of demon/revenant soul passing off as the original but informed of every little minutiae from the host life thanks to Xavier giving him all the deets on their hijcked body's cerebro backup so they can seamlessly infiltrate the mutie ranks and secretly undermine them from withi-ohhai sym!

>>153240264To a degree, yes. Part of a program during the late forties and fifties. The Hoover Commission recommended that the US government seek complete integration of native americans into mainstream society, with the eventual goal of shrinking or eliminating reservations, and reducing or ending various social programs and tax exemptions. The idea was to relocate poor unemployed natives. The result was one-way trips to areas that often discriminated against them, and if they lost their new jobs, they were stuck in a new area with no family or support, and unable to afford to move back.
