I'm liking it well enough to far, I have watched all of The Clone Wars and rebels, so it's cool to see these lost years of Maul. But if I catch a whiff of the sequels or Mando season 3 Bo Katan bullshit, I'm dropping it.
Will Vader appear? There's no way a bunch of Inquisitors can make for worthwhile antagonists. There are only like five characters in the galaxy who can give Maul a hard time in the time frame the show is in. He's unlikely to meet Yoda unless he goes to Dagobah, he can't meet Ben yet, and I doubt Palpatine will get off his ass for this. That leaves Vader and Ahsoka.
>>153247747the Vader poster for the show already leaked
>>153247517how did you like the twist of the apprentice betraying the master?
>>153247517The show is great. One of the few good things released under the Disney Star Wars banner. It's a shame 4chan is fucking dead and interest in Star Wars is at an all-time low after they released garbage after garbage for 5 years in a row. Imagine if this had come out in 2021 right after Clone Wars finale.
>>153248095The interesting thing is, he didn't "betray" him. He didn't call the Empire because he is some bootlicker, or out of some other malicious intent. He actually did the right thing. He did it to save his friend after he almost got himself killed a number of times, and got a lot of the officers killed. It was clearly out of their hands, and there was no way they could handle it on their own without getting killed and putting more lives in danger. It's not just about following protocol, but about preventing more losses and getting the situation out of hand. Police chief said the same thing, basically. He has to hurt Lawson to save him and other officers. Of course, the issue is that Two Boots doesn't comprehend the difference between the Republic and Empire - it's the same thing to him, and to most of the people in the galaxy at this point. Lawson, on the other hand, clearly knows something, and it's probably tied to the fact that his ex-wife is with the Empire. It's gonna be tragic when something awful is gonna happen, which came out of Two Boots' genuine desire to help.
>>153248095I've seen people call 2Boots a traitor, idiot and a lot else. But Idk what other options there were? There was no way Janix could handle Maul themselves, and how many cops had to die until they called the Empire?
ASMR in that entire sequence was crazy.
>>153247813>>153247747Vader will likely only appear via hologram. I sincerely doubt he'll have an active role in shit show or even something like his appearance in Rebels. And this is actually because of Rebels. When Dave wrote Twilight of The Apprentice, one of the things he originally wanted was to have a big Maul vs Vader fight, but in the end decided against it because he thought it was too fanservicy and that the characters had no history to justify having them fight. And so now because of that he has to keep them apart. Just like he did with Anakin and Grievous in TCW because RoTS showed that they never met until the battle of Coruscant.>but how does he know about Vader being stronger than himThe same way he knew Anakin was Sheev's crown jewel for ending the clone war. Maul is very tapped into the Dark Side and is shown visions. And Vader was never discreet like Sheev was so of course Maul would feel ripples of his power though the Force. That and killing loose lipped Inquisitors also helps.
>>153249043Blah, blah, blah. He only says in Rebels "I cannot defeat Vader alone". That's it. They can have Maul and Vader fight and have Maul get his shit kicked in so hard that he becomes a hobo on Malachor. That's what's gonna happen. Not in this season, tho. Vader in this season is gonna be a hologram when talking to Marrok, and appear in person in a few scenes in the final episode to take the matter into his own hands after the Inquisitors fail. Maul and Vader will obviously fight. Because that's gonna be the story here, and not just fanservice.
>>153248892I could listen to this man for hours
>>153249126Blah-blah-blah, Dave said they've never met, so they're not going to cross paths in the show. That's it.

>>153247517Star Wars is highly satanic because it promotes the false religion of Buddhism. Hope whoever made this mess dies and sees the real devil
>>153251735I have real respect for the Animation Team, they've consistently improved at every turn. And the background paintings are gorgeous.
>>153247747Except Maul is outnumbered a billion trillion to one by enemies who pull superweapons out of their ass.In other words, he's an underdog.
Since Filoni keeps retconning shit, what are the odds he retcons Maul's death in Rebels?

>>153252148From the Polygon interview:>Yet, we also know that Maul is an incredibly popular character. Maul: Shadow Lord already has a second season confirmed, and the character has had several spin-off comics over the years. Could we get a, “Somehow, Darth Maul returned” in the future?>“You never know,” Shadow Lord executive producer Brad Rau tells Polygon. “We're just focusing on this one time period right now.”>Maul's voice actor, Sam Witwer, on the other hand, had his own ideas about what a resurrection of the Sith lord might look like.>“Clone him. Make an army of him. Just do it. Let's get it over with,” Witwer jokes. “I couldn't imagine. I did not foresee that Maul would have a show named after him. I never even considered it. If there's any possibility, that's Dave Filoni's purview.”
>>153252148>>153252187>>153252278What if Maul in Rebels was actually one of the Zabrak bros who got new face tattoos and was hypnotized into thinking he's the real Maul? Maul in Rebels didn't look much like the original Maul and had white teeth. Meanwhile, the real Maul is out there.
