Incredibles 2 is great, it’s better than the first one, and 70% of the detraction was people seething about the hypnosis fetishism.

My problem with it is that its main plot is a rehash of the 1st movie's plot (benefactor of the protag is the villain who hates supers), and the ending where supers are now accepted by the public again makes no damn sense when the collateral damage caused by their final fight with the supervillain is exactly why they were outlawed in the first place.

Like wtf was different in the end compared to the opening fight with the underminer that got the Incredibles in hot water?
