I don't know about INDIE animation, but many of the most toddler entertainers just started from youtube channels. Ms Rachel, Blibbi, Danny Go - they were all small time years back.Animation is a different story, because (as you already know) it's much more time consuming and difficult to do. And there are already a ton of popular animated shows before kids turn 10. Go down the toy aisle and you'll see: Bluey and Paw Patrol are the big two. Disney Jr has a ton of Marvel CG shows (Spidey and his amazing friends, etc.) that are quite popular as well.This goes without saying, but the worst thing you can do is stick them in front of a device. Yeah, it sucks having to keep your kid behaved at a restaurant, or when you're cleaning at home, but turning them into a head-phone wearing zombie is infinitely worse.My kid is 4 and I let them watch TV here and there, but typically no more than an hour a day. Maybe 2 is its the weekend. But there's already so many kids the same age I see that are cooked. Scrolling through the shorts, always playing with their own personal device.It's sad.I guess MAYBE an indie product for younger kids could break through, but the real problem is that means you have to let your kids watch it on some platform like Youtube. I don't want my kids watching anything on a platform where they are one click adjacent from brainrot and TADC.
