When did Marvel become so chaste?They used to be the cool industry standard that everyone read.Was it the Disney buy out?How can we make them be more rebellious and a little naughty to appeal to the masses?
To be fair, no one would do this to a teen in a comic outside of Japan nowadays.

You're right, Marvel - and comics in general - has become incredibly Puritanical over the last 20-25 years. This is a function of Karens and complainers gaining hectoring power through social media that they never had prior to 2006. Not sure how we can go back to normal without banning all social media forever. Imagine a comic company publishing this cover nowadays. They'll be destroyed socially, commercially, and legally in a month. What an awful timeline we live in.
