>>153277963I thought that "holy fucking shit" was fine because it fit in with the situation and the story of the main gnome character, but what did me over was the constant use of thrown in "dude DRUGS" "dude look they SHIT AND PEE" without having it being relevant to the overall tone and concept of the story. It made the entire less its own recognizable unique thing, but more like generic adult cartoon slop that uses shock value to pad things out instead of substance.And I recall that Cas himself literally sold the pilot as a passion project out of his love for gnomes that wanted to capture the vibe of it, which his pilot felt barely any of that. And I'm not surprised given how his content tends to veer towards to being designed as lazy content slop with how much his adaptions are just from the Disneyslop, which are also generally overrated mediocre slop. Its amazing just how overrated he is with how he barely can construct meaningful stories.
