Plus how adult swim fucked them over piolt aired in 07, season 1 in 08 season 2 in 20fucking11 3 in 2012 but then season 4 in 2014 with half the fucking episodes less a budget. 6 years for for 36 11min episodes gotta fucking love adult swim.

>>153280909obviously animation is the main draw but i'd argue the writing suffered after season 1 too. nobody cares about "character development" in a show like superjail and prioritizing that betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of the show. stingray was boring and added nothing. whatever ongoing plots they came up with were poorly cobbled together as scripting is clearly not their strong suit. i remember watching superjail for the first time at 3 am and being disappointed that there's only 1 season. i would say season 1 is a 10/10, season 2 is maybe a 6 or 7, then it ends up around a 5. it's not horrible but seeing those scenes in the later seasons with 2-frame animations is just sad.
