I hate the New 52 transformation of Darkseid into a Thanos/Mongul type. He had a lot more aura in Final Crisis as a fat dying old man bringing all of reality down with him.

I could get Nu52 being the first time Darkseid attack earth so was more inexperience than 4th world, Legends and Final Crisis.But the others darkseid stories(earth 2 and the last Geoff's arc doesn't work well(him attacking Earth 3 could made sense because that earth is the opposite)I would reboot earth 2 as a golden age of superheroes type of earth that a Legends-like plan worked years ago so the heroes went into hiding and the antilife is more present.
