Would you say the 90s had a lot more toilet humor, farting and gross-out than the 2000s? I don't even recall the 2000s cartoons being gross or having much fart jokes at all. Meanwhile, the 90s had shows like Rocko, Cow and Chicken, Aaahh Real Monsters and especially Ren and Stimpy that were gross. Not even Total Drama Island was as gross as Rocko and Ren and Stimpy.

Has anyone ever unironically laughed at fart jokes or whatever? As a kid, my favorite stuff was always about the characters themselves and escalating scenarios that they got into. It's why duo comedy always works so well in the Warner Bros and MGM stuff.
