I'm starting to watch Amphibia, so let's have a thread.Just finished episode 1 so far and surprisingly very enjoyable, it already got a little conflict between Anne and her friends potentially being pieces of shit going on.And I'm already seeing some lore set up with how Anne ended up with the frogs and the blondie ended up with the toads, I'm gonna assume the third girl is with some other group/race and maybe they'll potentially come to a head on struggle between each other after learning of their respective places, potentially some political squabbles between them and through defending their race they'll have a chance to work out their own problems from back home.So yeah, seems really cool!I love the old guy too, hop hop or something? He's funny.Hyped to see more.
>>153294426Amphibia was a fun show
>>153294881It seems fun so far.
It's alright. You shouldn't skip episodes on your first watch, but on subsequent ones, there are quite a bunch that feel like a drag
>>153294916>skipping episodesYikes, >>>/a/ is that way.
>>153295022Yeah, sorry douche, i'm not watching all of the God awful third season, thanks
>>153294897Well, I'm glad you like it. Amphibia was the last of its kind. Disney really just stopped making interesting shows after Amphibia. It's just CoComelon toddler shows from this point onward.
>>153295082Yeah I remember they put out a statement that no one was watching them so they just got rid of lore cartoons.A shame but it is what it is, adults watching disney cartoons is not that big of an audience.
>>153295076Stop acting like you’re OP, this’s why everyone hates namefags.
>>153294426The comedy stays about the same as it was from the original episode all the way till the end.
>>153294426Its a fun time. Better than the other isekai one with birds.
>>153295355The golden era of animation as we know it has already long gone. It's really depressing nowadays cartoon companies' CEOs care only about money, even if it comes at the cost of producing nothing but low-quality shows. I consider myself to be fortunate to live and experience the golden days of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney in the early 2000s and 2010s as a millennial (born in '95).
