In the Bleachers enjoyers, the integrity of our strip has been getting called into question as of late. Our rectitude depends on if this week's In the Bleachers is lame or funny

>>153296792previous weeks (>>153198978) identified him as Mr. Jack. I'm not familiar, myself
>>153296381>Disney's The Sword in the Stone
>>153296856>Mr. Jack is an American comic strip by Jimmy Swinnerton which ran in William Randolph Hearst newspapers from August 30, 1903, until 1935.[1] Mr. Jack, a philandering playboy tiger, may be the first developed cartoon animal character, a type that has since become a staple in the comics medium. >The central character is Mr. Jack, a married but philandering tiger who would flirt with any nearby lady. His long-suffering spouse, "Wifey", often has to beg forgiveness for her husband's misbehavior, only to beat him senseless afterward.1903!

>>1532961692; Extra lock of hair on the back of the boy's headOh joy! A question involving everyone's "favorite" subject: Math...How anyone's capable of pulling off an accurate guess in a split-second is the real mystery here...I'm going to assume that the entire torso takes up half of the entire body in height and that we're using the standard 7.5 heads tall route.I'm also going to assume in accordance to the given measurements and that I'm too lazy to guess by looks alone- I'm going to assume that the entire body is a sphere stacked on top of an upside-down cone with the cylinders resembling the arms and legs. The diameter of those cylinders will take up a third of the chest's diameter. Also assuming that the cylinders from both the arms and the legs are the same length excluding the mass from the elbows and knees. The Head: 36 in./7.5= 4.8 inches in diameter2.4 in.^3 * pi * 4/3 = 57.9058 in.^3The Torso: [Base- (35/2 inches)^2 * pi * Height-18 inches] = 5,772.6765 in.^3Arms & Legs (each segment): [Base- (35/(3*2) inches)^2 * pi * (36in. -(18in.+4.8in.)) = 1,411.0987 in.^3Clerk's Entire Body:(1411.0987in.^3*4)+ 5,772.6765 in.^3+ 57.9058 in.^3=11,474.9771 cubic inches. (Don't know how to go from this to kilograms but this is as far as I could get in terms of the incompatible measurements between cubic inches and kilograms)This guess is not accurate but it's baseline and I sunk in hours solving it. Feel free to step in and revise only if you know math yourself. This guess of mine made it sound as if the deli clerk has a baby head. And pardon the deletions earlier. Couldn't think straight now...Stray popcorn in front of woman feet, Straw from thermos, Extra button behind T.V., Guy's tongue, Extra lock of hair on woman, Button on the sofa armrestc.) 24

>>153296396>Literal Writer's thinly veiled disguised fetish.Giant babies eating people?
>>153297997No storyline this week, just disconnected school strips. BUT... someone in a Rosebuds thread a couple weeks wondered who this guy is, and now he has a name. That's like the third time something like that's happened around here.

>>153296381why is the dad cast in shadow in the 4th panel it's a completely lit scene in the kitchen
>>153303256curtis is lit
>>153296169Reminds me of a guy who bet me $20 he could guess where I got my shoes. I took that bet, and he said "You got them on your feet."Made me laugh, so I paid up. Honestly one of the best ratios of amusement to money spent from that trip
>>153296393KekThe joke is he’s a rotten kid who plays mean, vicious pranks on his poor neighbor hence why he thought the shit he eats is a “brat diet”
>>153296471a little late with this one.
>>153303256Probably so he doesn't distract from Curtis and his dialogue despite taking up the majority of space in the panel.
>>153296169Smug sonofabitch.
>>153296794I like a lot about this one. The little "eep" from the ball before being hit, for example; and the punchline is correct, it IS better to hit your own kid if you accidently hit someone.
>>153296233Seems Gocomics isn't the only site with black inkless bugs. The site, Arcamax, which has some of the frequent comics posted on to these threads, had an inkless version of today's 9 Chickweed Lane comic. Rose is Rose also has a inkless print there. Imagine OP posting pic related rather than the regular version we have here.....
>>153296260>>153306073Ditto to Baby Blues.>>153299315The hell is going in the funnies? First Zits, then Baby Blues, and now Big Nate are ending? Shrinking comic sections in newspapers are the funnies equivalent of Thanos. Someone outta do an Avengers: Infinity War poster with the funnies.
>>153299315holy shit >>153306219my only guess is a mixture of comic strip creators are getting older and wanting to cut back, Pierce is 62. The other is newspaper revenue is still shrinking and maybe keeping Sunday is still more valuable since I guess more people still get at least the Sunday paper instead of the Monday-Saturday? And He might be having better success with the Big Nate Graphic Novels and wants to focus on those. And maybe working on more Max and the Midknights books, not sure if that story ever ended or not.
>>153296169>meats and cheeses
>>153299315Wow, that's a bit of a shock. That would leave Pearls Before Swine, Sherman's Lagoon and Non Sequitur as the only 90s strips still running daily and with their original author
>>153299315Jesus, this is getting ridiculous. At this rate it feels like I'll have to work on my own strip just to help keep this scene from dying out entirely.
>>153296313So there's one hiding or it's an impasta.
