I think a lot of the nu teams suck because DC has gotten really lazy at build ups and worldbuilding in general. It's not just a TT problem. There's such a lack of care in putting stuff together that's really off-putting and of course the substance of what the teams do is never that good either. Honestly it's hard to care because even if they managed to put together a decent team with good chemistry it would get blown up in no time, but people will always hope
