Do you know any animated characters that are African Wild Dogs ?
>>
I'm sure African wild dogs have appeared in shows like Wild Kratts, but as actual characters? Probably not

These guys are also called painted dogs btw. Name is less cool but apparently it was changed to decrease poaching and negative stereotypes so I guess I’m ok with it

Cool animals though

In Poland we call them Likaons. Eventually Simirs.

Show was ass, but I found this guy entertaining

There’s an abandoned 9-episode Youtube furry series about a pack of them called Painted Flowers

Huh. Thought sure there'd be some in The Lion Guard but nope.
>>
If it does show up anywhere, it’s one of those animals that I’m sure will look very different once it’s stylized into a cartoon, and then will be very easy to misidentify as another animal, like a hyena. I’m guessing there’s maybe one or two in the background of zootopia or bojack horseman or something. The kind of thing where the animators are trying to fit in as many species as they can think of.

Some people confused Hannah the Aardwolf with a yeen. Must be her smile.
>>
>>153310579
Aardwolves are yeens.

You know what you almost never see? Woodchucks/groundhogs. They're one of the most common animals in north america but aside from a few one-off shadow gags like in Jack Frost, the only character I can think of is from The Nut Job. Not that I want to see them or anything. It's just weird.

I think I saw a nutria at my local pond the other day (not my photo obviously. my guy ran away before I could take one, but he looked like this). But I always mistake these guys for beavers at first because nobody ever brings them up.
>>
>>153311107
Alex the Lion is pounding one.
>>
>>153311176
Muskrat looks like that but half the size and cuter.
>>
>>153312809
Oh well maybe i did see a muskrat cause the thing I saw was pretty small. Like I knew for certain it couldn’t be a beaver partly cause it was too small.

Nutrias are intermediate between the two and their tails are rounded, while a muskrat's is flattened.vertically.
