Up until 2010 or so I was more or less knowledgeable of Hawkman and Hawkgirl's (and Hawkwoman) convoluted lore, but after the n52 I'm completely lost. Is there a Katar Hol, a Carter Hall, Shiera Hall, Shayera Hol, Kendra Saunders, etc...?Pic related.

A nameless redheaded fucktoy appeared and promised him sex if he stopped killing. With the promise of pussy on the line he became good. However to prove to God that he actually redeemed himself, he and his bimbo broad would reincarnate and live a new life for every life he took. Across all space, all time, all realities these two souls were reborn all at once as all hawks and assorted short stories, all new selves but all the same soul. Even the evil Earth-3 hawkman who just kept killing people to keep the pseudo-immortality going. But eventually in last big arc they resolved the whole matter, and now the final incarnations are Carter Hall and Shayera Thal. Because once again, Katar Hol remains the best hawkman and everything good about him gets grafted onto Carter to prop his useless ass up. Now Katar even losing his wife in perhaps the finest case of meta-cuckolding. Oh and Kendra still exists as her own weird thing, her ambiguously brown booty justifying her existence once again.

I remember during Darkest Night the current at the time Hawkgirl refused to believe she was reincarnated and didn’t believe she was in love because she would die if she admitted she did love Hawkman. Then at the end of the issue she said she loved Hawkman and were both killed the next page by Hawkman and Hawkgirl.I didn’t know anything about them so I was very confused and now years later when I know more about them I’m still confused.
