Don't like that he has visible iris/scelera. Human characters had human eyes. G.I.s had pure white.

I'm hyped for this. I'd been fantasizing over the prospect of a project like this eversince that one Astartes fan film dropped. That said I sort of wish they'ed gone with ABC Warriors first. I think it's far and away the more bombastic of the two, but I'm thankful we're getting this at all.

I really hope this actually manifests and doesnt end up being another Goon situation

It makes him look too much like a man in blue-face. That the beginning and end of my complaint. If they nail his voice and mannerisms I won't complain. But looking JUST at the trailer's thumbnail makes me think this is somone wearing CGIed make-up.

I agree. Personally I think all white might look a bit weird in live action as well, ideally you would want white iris on white sclera so that while it's all white you still have a bit of color variation to help with expressions.

for example all the covers for The War Machine (which despite being Friday, not Rogue, is in the same continuity) have Friday with pure-white eyes; but the interiors all have visible pupils and irises - at least when they're not on Nu Earth, so I guess the white is representing the third eyelid protecting them from the chem-clouds there

and in fairness, even Rogue's eye colour changes from white (implied from the first b/w strips) to yellow (when they were coloured for reprint) and back to white (in later recolors)

I can't really be bothered to check all of Venus's appearances (tho she's definitely got something like white on white irises/pupils in her cover for prog 1015) but seeing as she's part of the first GI programme and hangs out with Friday (who's part of the second), whatever her eyes do when she's around Friday is probably normal for GIs

Tor Cyan who is a straight copy of Rogue has all-white eyes in every apperance I remember, but the art on Mercy Heights was something else so who even knows with that guy; at one point he loses the bionic eye and then just gets it back for no real reason
