Given how a second season would've come out around the time of RotSS release, I wonder if they planned to synergize by adapting the Coming of Galactus or if they would've been restricted from it like what happened with The Batman or the current Marvel cartoons

EMH, easily. I know exactly what would happen if Spectacular got revived, so I'd rather it just let it stay the way it was, though there is a part of me that wanted WGH to bring in the Inhumans and Galactus at least. It's just weird it ended with Terminus of all villains
