I liked season one, but this is easily the worst Supergirl ever made and is making season two an absolute chore to get through.
That's because season two is terrible and doubles down on all the worst aspects of the show.

This being a fresh take actually made the angst feel natural instead of her suddenly getting emotional mid story. We really need a season 3 so we can see what she looks like as a proper hero.

They never mentioned how different she is compared to the comics as it being a bad thing, they just appreciated this iteration of hers, saying that the design is great and her personality is cute.Personally, I think the major appeals of this show really are the designs and the reimagined character personalities and interactions. For example, I know Lois both looks and acts very differently from her previous depictions, but honestly I liked it, and I like her interactions with Superman, to the point where she is my favorite version of Lois Lane to date.
