I don't think many people will disagree with you. Those guys voices match the character, differentiate him from Clint Eastwood, and fit the short stature. I think Wolverine's more fast talking, gravelly voice fits the shortness.
Scott McNeil in Evolution is also good. Not perfect but still very good.
