Now that the show is over, how would you rank each episode?

Now that Smiling Friends is over, I think it's safe to say it was always kind of all over the place writing quality-wise. People just ate up anything thrown their way because it came from their very favourite YouTube animator who can do no wrong.

Just admit it. You know it to be true.

I agree with your premise but not the conclusion. Much like Primal I ate it up because it showed a modicum of effort compared to most of the other shit out there and somehow managed not to be cancelled after one season like other good projects are.
It's nothing revolutionary but I'm glad it existed.

any thoughts on this? the animation director on smiling friends talking about his experience on the show www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLh4_CV4jOI

it seems like he was happy for the experience and opportunity to lead a popular show and yet people are trying to spin it into "workplace abuse"

I never understood the "you only like SF because e-celeb" cope because it means undeserved success and a lack of talent on the part of the creators, who both are still getting hired for work on other projects (even prior to SF's existence). And also strange I never hear this same argument applied to Cusack's other projects, only ever Smiling Friends.
