Where Cyclops sees red (metaphorically).Comics in this thread:>Cyclops #3>Rogue #4>Wade Wilson: Deadpool #3>Wolverine #19
Bump if you're reading.
>”I begged my parents to let me go to Krakoa, but they told me to wait.”Sucks to be you, I guess. It’s also kind of an achievement that you ended up missing your chance, considering how easy it was to get there.
You've been walking for hours and not done anything with that chunk of wood lodged into you?
Oh sweet, the Red Triangle Protocol.
>He has a wound sealant in his belt to use for the woundGood to know that the belt isn’t for show! Now, why aren’t you carrying a spare visor or your glasses in it?
>Tearjerker is already waiting for themWell, this won’t be easy.
Just give him the glasses. Please?
Aw fuck.
>>153335553Bump
woops
I doubt Tearjerker survived that.
That wasn’t a smart move now, was it? He’s sending you back to the mines now.
Nevermind, I guess Tearjerker did survive.
Sorry Tearjerker, it’s time for you to be scrapped by Scott.
And now for Rogue.
Last issue, Rogue traveled to Chicago to break into the original Constrictor’s company and confronted him over what happened back in the Project PEGASUS mission years ago, to which he responded by siccing his security on her. After managing to knock out him and his security guards, she absorbs Constrictor’s memories, but ends up being disappointed since she still isn’t anywhere closer to the truth as to what happened. Unfortunately for her, she is now trapped within the company building with security after her, while her powers aren’t working properly.
>Constrictor’s company is called Chordata IndustriesI would be really disappointed if the name wasn’t snake-related.
>her powers are suddenly working againBut why did they stop working before?
While that's happening, let's check back on Mr. Miserab- I mean, J. Stelton.
>”Is this the start of some new mutant faction trying to unsettle the city?”no>”Do you think Rogue will come here to finish me off?”Err…
>they’re chasing her with a chopperGet a fucking life, jeez.
>”Frank Payne [...] is using his wealth to fund the anti-mutant militia Humanity First.”Rather convenient that she just happened to crash where that deal was being made back in Issue #2.
>”Years ago, Betsy n’ Rachel taught me ta meditate. Emma helped too, but Ah don’t wanna give her too much credit.”I’m surprised that Emma didn’t get in contact with Rogue given that she’s in Chicago now and ended up appearing on the news.
Alright, back to the flashback.
So Rogue was responsible in the end for maiming J. Stelton. But what did her powers freaking out have to do about this?
Stelton is not going to be happy about this reunion, that’s for sure.
And now for Wade Wilson: Deadpool.
Last time in Wade’s miserable adventures, a mysterious contact began sending letters to Wade containing omens that would befall on people which Wade had to prevent. While Wade has absolutely no idea who the contact is or why they have chosen him, he ultimately doesn’t care because he sees this not only as his opportunity to become a hero ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶t̶r̶a̶c̶t̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶w̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶p̶p̶e̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶v̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶t̶u̶s̶ ̶q̶u̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶o̶ ̶a̶w̶a̶y̶, but to extort the everloving hell out of the people he saves. But Hammerhead is not happy that Wade is not taking his offers that would help him expand his criminal empire, and becomes even less happier when he learns that Wade’s next omen to prevent involves one of his mooks that he ordered a hit on…
>>153335608Didn't he carry one in X-Manhunt
>Wade’s never been into the FFBut Ben Grimm came and helped you in the April Pool’s Day special…
Wade, I don’t think it’s a good idea to try to extort money from a crime boss.
Told you.
>Wade failed to prevent the omenNyoooo
>”Get us in on the action. Tell us how the omens work.”But he kind of explained it last issue, someone is just mailing him.
But enough about that, it’s time to finally get *some* info on what happened to Wade’s previous status quo.
Oh no, the woman and her baby were also mercs!
>threatening to kill Blind AlOh no you don’t.
>Hammerhead got the omenUh-oh. Hope it’s just a dud…
And now for Wolverine.
Previously, Logan sensed that Romulus had arrived at the New Morlock’s new settlement and sounded the alarm that they must flee and hide from the danger. But Logan was surprised to learn that Romulus had instead been murdered by Hercules, who was now under the control of the Adamantine. They immediately began fighting and destroying parts of the settlement in process, until they were frozen in place by another member of the Greek Pantheon: Athena!
>”Wolverine, whose adamantium claws cannot shatter.”Yeah, about that…
>Logan is destined to defeat the AdamantineWell, I guess it’s one way to make sure it remains a Wolverine villain.
Do you not have anything better to do than to go around the world and murder random people?
Oh come on.
Okay then, I guess we’re not waiting till Issue #22 for Ahmed to break the claws.
>Adamantine sniktAw crap.
>>153336026KWAB
Well. Things took a turn there.
Next week: Uncanny X-Men #27, Generation X-23 #3, Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon #3.And that's it! If you liked these, support your LCS or whatever.
>>153335789>Betsy and RachelCringe
>spare glassesThat's a gay r/xmen complaint. I've noticed it's a faggy way they use to bitch about this mini due to hating everything for not being Cuckoa.
>>153336287>Pointing out a valid error that could have been easily fixed in an otherwise okay comic is gay and redditWhat?
>>153336037One way or another Logan is going to end up with the Adamantine as his skeleton and claws after tames it or gets it on his side. It will be a whole arc thing. Also probably going to see another one of those man+beast+metal types from another dimension before this is all over.
Wow, it sucked
I fucking LOVE Krakoa

>>153335783Has Constrictor ever been characterised as particularly anti-mutant or working with those types? Like I guess Mark Waid had him work with the Sons of the Serpents purely for profit rather then anything regarding their prejudiced ideology.
>>153338766I don't think so, noIt feels like Schultz wanted to plug Humanity First again after introducing them in LK: Wolverine, but didn't have a good idea how and where to do it, so she just made Constrictor I one of the people funding it in order to sort of justify their existence in the mini
Put this franchise out of its misery already.

>>153340590Too many cooks, editorial not knowing how to work with the cool idea and letting it go off the rails too hard. Hickman wanted to slide off of it on his own terms but they had to meddle. It's bad enough that the editorial couldn't give him straight answers for "So who do we pair who with?" even when under threat of him making them fuck everybody to not have to deal with the love triangle.
