The shapeshifting Demon plasma turned into Vergil to fight Dante for no reason, in like the first episode. He then later monologues for no reason that he requires a living being to mimic so that he can't kill the officer he intends to impersonate. So, this means that he had to have met Vergil prior to the season starting and know that he is the second son of Sparda, but the White Rabbit implies that he was ignorant of Nelo Angelo's identity until he received the blood required. SO how did Plasma know about Vergil's identity but not inform the White Rabbit? Everything about this show is just unnecessarily contrived.
