So how is that owls movie by Snyder?
owl /ss/
>>153343824It's a story about a bunch of birds that throw themselves at an electric fence until they break it, but stretched out over an hour in length.
>>153343824it's really good. an improvement in some ways to the books.
>>153343824It's really good, deserves more recognition. Shame a sequel will probably never happen.
>>153344300it shouldve been a trilogy. im fascinated by how synder wouldve interpreted the rest of the setting.
>>153343824The books are great.
>>153344345Last I heard he wanted to do more films and the studio did but they were fully booked up. Given the studio is now owned by Netflix it seems a sequel could only happen if there's a resurgence in popularity. It's a shame as fantasy series that put a lot of work into the world building are rare.
Not my personal blog, I know, but I used to be literally obsessed with the books. I remember the day the trailer released. I remember watching it like six times one after the other. I started reading books in English as a ESL just so I could finisb the series. Fantasy as a kid is a hell of a drug.
>>153343824WHO?
All I can think about when I am reminded of this movie is that one military contractor who got stuck in a remote desert outpost alone for two weeks, where the only english he could hear was from a fuzzy tv channel that played this movie 24/7.
>>153343824Ga'hoole? More like GAY HOLE. Gottem.
