Earth is good because its the closest match to breeding a fellow viltrumite, bugworld is good because they can breed with them and can be bred rapidly and the resulting spawn aging up quickly even if they are markedly inferior

Yeah its some magical blood curse that makes Battlebeast so strong, and it passed on to his daughter after his death.
Honestly magical stuff seems like it could easily beat viltrumites, which is why its never focused on by the writing.
